Simple maintenance steps for your HVAC system. The thermostat in your home will have a temperature selector and two switches marked HEAT/OFF/COOL and FAN-ON/FAN AUTO. It is suggested to set your thermostat(s) between 75 and 78 degrees to be the most efficient, and try not to exceed 82 or 73 degrees.
