I had someone out to do a quote for my bathroom. I was not set on doing the remodel right then and there and I expressed that at the beginning of the appointment. Told them I was gathering information to be able to eventually make a decision. They wanted to know if I would qualify for a loan and for which one. I adamantly said NOT to run a hard inquiry on my credit and they did anyways. I asked and provided the information I needed to have the hard inquiry removed. The asked me to send it to their email and then ignored me. DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY INTO YOUR HOME and DO NOT give them your information

Received several calls and messages from K-Design in the last few days. I finally called to make an appointment because we need siding and a few windows. Thought that it never hurts to get competitive bids. They tried to force me into an appoint late in the same day because they had someone doing an estimate just around the corner from me today. How do you do an estimate for siding after dark? In addition, I live in a neighborhood with corn fields on all sides.

I had a front door and screen door replaced. The front door was not what I ordered and was told that is all they have, take it or leave it. The screen door was installed and within a few months the door longer closed properly.i opened a service request in June 2020. A few months later I was leaving my house and the screen door fell on top of me,… knocking me to the ground. I immediately called the company to report the issue. The sales rep came by called himself a Marketing director. I inquired for a full bath remodel instead he comes in saying "we provide top of the line materials and that they have a 3-month waiting which also has to do with ordering their supplies in Chicago and that I need to consider increase in price for materials and gas." I priced out dual pane windows for our 4 plex and K-Designers came in with the best estimate. We have a total of 19 windows which were replaced. The windows arrived in a timely fashion and the installation was completed in three days. One of the screens was coming out at the corner of the window and they showed up the next morning and fixed it. We're very happy with the quality of the windows, the smoothness of the installation process, and the bottom line price. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT they cashed my check without my 100% satisfaction or a final inspection!! All kinds were done incorrectly it took a month to get them to come fix it and it still wasn't fixed and they called saying they had a final inspection the next day to review their corrections. When I said no my hallway wall still isn't finished they were surprised AND still haven't called back over a week ago!!!

I had to actually ask the salesperson "marketing director " to leave my house after I was getting so upset. I told him it wasn't in my price range and to leave the information. He kept getting pushy and knocking down other companies. Even after asking him to leave, he continued with his prices and kept saying so you want to go with just the cheapest window? I usually don't read or write reviews, but I should have read them before having them come out for an estimate to replace one window. Instead, a sales associate was sent who proceeded to go on about marketing efforts and preach about God for nearly 3 hours. He stayed from 6pm - 9pm, and was planning on staying longer into the night until we finally were able to get him to leave. We have no idea how long his sales

It's been a big week around here by anybody's standards. Today, K Designers finished installing the windows on the house, and I can't say enough good things about them. One of the things that had me wary about replacing the awfully inefficient, single pane windows on the first floor of my 96 year old house was the fact that I loved that they were wood, and matched the frames as well as the rest of the house. Well, K Designers was able to dye the vinyl to nearly match the existing wood, retaining the charm of the originals.

I would give 0 stars if I could. A guy showed up out of nowhere claiming we called them about installing new windows when we didn't. The guy took over an hour before leaving. Then we kept getting calls about the remodeling. I even told them we aren't doing any remodeling work and told them to stop calling us. 3 months down the line and we're still getting calls from them....

Based on the overall sales training/strategy that this company employs, this is the ONLY company I will not consider based on how the estimate process went. The old school used car sales routine was kind of hilarious.
Early on in the conversation, I shared that I like to do research, check reviews, etc. when I am looking at these projects. The defensiveness of online reviews were quick and now I can see why. As you get 'sold', see if any of this sounds familiar.

A telemarketer SCAM caller- Contacts my elderly mother, tells her they received on line info we were looking for new windows?
Then the women talks her into making an appointment for a 2 pm bid, telling her they can't come out in the AM!
"Only their convenience not ours? she tells my mother they have meetings in the mornings.
My mother calls me tells me the story!
I called the k designers back and talk to the woman, explained
