We contracted with Price Builders last year to build a Granny Flat (~800 sq ft) located on the side and front of our property. We had used a designer/architect from another firm who made the initial drawings. We met with to several builders to get preliminary estimates for duration and price of the build. We are so very happy we selected Leo at Price Builders! Leo and Einat were able to resolve some of the “other” designer's mistakes and redesigned the bathroom to use the limited space much better. We have used Leo (Price Builders) to remodel our last 3 homes. He is an incredibly honest, efficient and high quality builder. His pricing and practices are the best. He has exceeded our expectations on all occasions. A close friend used a bad contractor at a discount and it resulted in a horrific situation that resulted in the loss of his home. We feel so fortunate that we've always been in safe hands with Leo at Price Builders!

I have used Price Builders twice now, once in 2004 for a room addition, restucco and reroof for a triplex I own in Pacific Beach and then in 2018 Price did a complete rebuild on my home taking it from 1,100sqft to over 3,000. Leo and his team are amazing builders and they completed both projects on time and within my budgets. I personally enjoyed working with Leo on my projects and I always appreciated his ideas to make my dream home a reality. Used Price Builders to complete our 1300 sq ft addition and remodel a couple of years ago and I cannot say enough about Leo and his team. They were professional, courteous, respectful, responsive, and completed our project on time as promised. Leo is no nonsense - he tells you what he can do, how much it would cost, and he prides himself on quality craftsmanship. I have recommended him to a number of friends who have also used him. Another friend decided to go with another well known local design build firm that we also got an estimate from. They are 6 weeks behind schedule and have no communication

Working with Leo was a great experience. He really knows what he's doing and he has some fantastic people working with and for him. He did a full house remodel for us and since he has worked on other projects at friend's homes. He is on budget, and on time. I would recommend him to anyone and would definitely hire him again.

I cannot say enough POSITIVE feedback about Leo and his team! I have done many remodeling projects in the past without a contractor. My life is too busy for me to also be the contractor on my latest bigger project. I interviewed 3 companies based on referrals. Not only was Leo's price so much more competitive, his team, timing and quality of work was exceptional. He was referred to me by two people that have done full gut home and kitchen/bath remodels. Leo has a straight forward, direct style of communication that I love. He is very well experienced and is passionate about his work

This review is from somebody that actually hired Price Builders to do the work, unlike the others that were just turned off by Leo's strong, direct personality. I found his direct approach more appealing because he does not sugar coat anything or try to woo you with a sales pitch. If he sees something out of code, he will tell you. If he can't do something, he will tell you. If it's going to cost a lot, he will tell you.

I wish I would have read S.H.'s review prior to having the President/CEO of Price Builders come out to the property. I also heard them advertised on KPBS and decided to call.

We used Price Builders for a major remodel and room addition in 2004. We encountered a few hiccups, as one would expect from adding an 80 sf foyer and 450 sf second story to a one-story house, but the construction manager communicated with us to solve every problem to our satisfaction. In 2013 -- very close to the end of the 10 year warranty on most construction projects and materials -- we had a problem with one of the 15 new windows.
