Jenuane Communities has an incredible new development called Sunset Bluffs! It's located a little west of Reno off of the Mogul exit on Interstate 80.
This local builder is completely different than the huge publicly traded builders around here, and you are NOT just a number with them and they actually care about the homes they build!
We have been thoroughly impressed with the quality of their homes, and the way they do business!
In fact, we were so impressed that we decided to have them build our new house at Sunset Bluffs!
Highly recommended and definitely 5 Stars!!!

We bought a home from them back in 2019. We had issues from the start, anything from tile being laid uneven, AC is not on an appropriate pad, knocking pipes, the list goes on. We are not the only ones in the neighborhood that have had issues. This community was not worth the money we spent on this house. Think twice before you buy.

We have been really impressed with our experience. We committed to having our home built in late March 2019. Our home was finished last week and was completed within a few days of the estimated completion date we were given back in March which seems pretty remarkable compared to some stories we have heard with other builders.

We have spent the past week moving in and getting settled. We can't say enough about how beautiful our new home looks. Yes, we had to do some cleaning but the details were just as anticipated as we were piecing this together.

We can't thank Carianne and Katie

Don't buy a home here!

These condos looks pretty on the outside but once you buy one and you'll see how half assed the job is done. These builders don't care about your house as long as they are getting paid they don't care about you.
When we moved in there's an apparent patch work done on a wall where someone made a hole and the patch work is horrible. Doors had holes in them, everything is scuffed up including baseboards and door trimming.
House comes with a 1yr warranty and everything is "fixed" half assed. Our cabinet handles are crooked.

I bought a Jenuane House in Gardnerville recently. The house is quite nice, and generally well-constructed. I'd recommend these houses.

There are, however, a few details that are important.

First, they are poor at setting the schedule for completing houses. Ours was completed nearly 1-2 months after they estimated. Of course, their contract says clearly that it's just an estimate. But all of the neighbors in this new area had the same experience: actual completion was 6-8 weeks after estimated completion.

Second, these houses have awful, or no, internet service. The builder

One star is too nice. We looked at The Overlook; one gal was nice (b) the other gal (j) did not accurately give information about the lot. When we walked thru with the superintendent it was discovered that there were additional significant buyer costs. We tried to work out a compromise with the head office, and the manager there was condescending and unwilling to find a compromise for there serious mistake.
