Midway began their business producing storm windows and storm doors in 1964. In 1983 Midway changed to focus solely to vinyl windows and patio doors. In order to offer our customers more options, in 2000 Midway was a founding member of the American Window Alliance (AWA). The AWA is a network of regional manufacturers who produce and market the same product under the same brand name.

The Hawthorne Patio Door Series is a versatile, high performing door designed for renovation and remodeling applications, as well as new construction. With a uniframe design, the door is offered in two, three or four panel configurations. By adding side lites and/or a transom, the Hawthorne door offers a wide array of design choices.
Our Alliance Window Systems brand offers two series of replacement windows, Hawthorne and Belmont. Hawthorne is our 'best' series offering standard features such as; InnovativE Low-E insulated glass, double strength glass, Clear-Vue full screen, coil balance system, and lifetime glass breakage warranty.

I had a Midway bay window 11 years ago for my home and started having issues with the exterior bonding agent which has started to separate. Now water is seeping in and caused mold to form on the interior wood base. I've contacted the company and communicated with a Sean who stated that the bonding agent or caulking that holds the window together is not covered under the limited lifetime warranty. He stated that this is maintenance I need to perform on a maintenance free window!
The window was a good price at the time and it was an urgent repair to my home, so it's true you get what you pay for
