One of the most common species you'll see populating our planet are the minute yet unstoppable army of ants that are ever-present in our daily routines. They come in various colors, sizes, and shapes, living on every continent except Antarctica. Researchers estimate that there are roughly 22,000 species sharing the planet with us, which equates to over 10 trillion individual ants.
Bed bugs have been one of humanity's greatest adversaries since man first walked the earth. That might be because the pests had a head start of over 100 million years, practicing their bloodsucking craft on dinosaurs long before they ever started infesting people's homes and businesses. Given that timeline, the bugs' stigma as signaling a dirty household is incredibly recent.
What is your first thought when you hear the word "cockroach?" Filth? Fear? Disgust? All of the above? As humans, it's almost as if it's ingrained in our DNA to despise the little (or not so little) pests, especially when they make an unwelcome appearance in our homes. Despite the hatred we have for them, there's no denying the creepy-crawlers come with some pretty interesting history.
With over 2,500 species in the order Siphonaptera, which means wingless siphon in Greek, the flea is a tiny, wingless pest that feeds solely on the blood of mammals, and in some cases, birds. While they lack flight capability, they are equipped with strong claws to hold themselves in place, a sharp proboscis for puncturing the skin, and powerful legs that allow them to jump over 50 times their body length.
Our area is home to the wide variety of pest, bug and animal species found in California, and even the most thoroughly and meticulously cleaned home or business is at risk of infestation without professional pest control. For most pests, it is not even dirt or poorly cleaned areas that attract them.

Matthew French is honest, reliable and trustworthy. He is always on time and let’s you know exactly what you need. Never adds extra charges or overcharge for a job. Let’s you know what you should do to resolve a problem. Not like other companies that charge knowing that minor handyman repairs could have been done to make the service more effective.

I highly recommend this company. Matt has been very easy to work with and most importantly, he listened to our concerns/needs.
