I called James Tree Service out after another tree service had incorrectly pruned some mature oaks in my front yard; 2-3 months after I'd paid another company ~$700 to prune the trees, all of the outer most branches were sagging down again.
JTS came out and was able to walk around the yard with me using a laser pointer to identify the correct areas to prune.
They spent about ~1.5 hours getting my tree cut correctly, and honestly it looks amazing. I thought for sure cutting more off the tree wouldn't look good, but they somehow made it look better.
Don't hesitate to use these guys.

We unfortunately had a 30 year old lacebark elm tree die after the huge snow storm this year. It needed to be removed but we were nervous about it being so close to the house. Marco came out and spent quality time with me going over what happened to our tree during the freeze and why it would unlikely return to life. I watched the crew of James Tree Service cut down our tree with care and precision. The teamwork of the three men that came out to our home was outstanding. It was truly amazing to watch. They cleaned up so well, you could barely even tell there was previously a tree there. Hopefully

I called to get a quote from James Tree Service yesterday, and they were able to come today. Their quote was WAY under 3 other quotes, AND they were able to start the job right away! Best way to describe this 3 person team is EXTREMELY efficient, hard working, and HIGHLY professional. Minor tweaks to tree stumps sticking up over stone wall modified easily to my preferences. Without hesitation, I will be using them for any upcoming jobs, and recommending them to friends and neighbors. LOOK NO FURTHER, JAMES TREE SERVICE IS THE BEST AND MOST AFFORDABLE ARBORIST AROUND.

James, Marco and crew were amazing! They picked up our call and came out to check out our project the same day to provide a quote. They shared all their corporate info including their arborist certifications, insurance and bonding. Very professional. The project seemed really tricky to us, but they managed to take care of it in half a day! They also cleared away all the debris (a LOT) too and left our yard better than ever! I highly recommend this company!

Their skill and detailed attention to the work at hand --- clearing out our dead bushes, trees and stumps, and tree trimming large post oaks and some cedar trees are excellent. Our questions were knowledgeably answered. They are on time! Officer manager, Judy, provided terrific help too, making sure we had references and with scheduling. When we first scheduled they didn't show, clearly something got mixed up but when we called they came right out within the hour. They gave us our quote and were able to do the job right then and there. I would definitely use them again. It was a fair price and our trees look great!

James Tree Service hit the yard running. They trimmed and pruned the entire yard (7 or 8 mature trees), raised the canopy, cleared the roof line and moved back the neighbors trees. Then they cleaned everything up without leaving a single limb. VERY satisfied and would recommend to anyone.

The Team from James Tree Service was excellent. I had been gathering quotes and information on two large ash trees that were damaged in the ice storm. They were going to be a liability going forward and James gave me an excellent set of options and prices. They started the same day, were safe, respectful of the property, and worked quickly and efficiently. I can't recommend them highly enough, and their cleanup work was top notch.
