Peter Dunham was raised in France and educated in England at Stowe. He read modern languages at Exeter College, and business administration at the American University in Paris. After graduating he worked in real estate in New York City. Peter moved to Los Angeles in 1998 and immediately started his interior design company.
In 2003 he launched his eponymous fabric and wallpaper collection, now sold through 16 showrooms worldwide. To house a growing collection of handcrafted furniture, textiles and vintage finds, Peter opened Hollywood at Home in 2007. Located in the Los Angeles design district, it has become a leading destination for design lovers.

In 2018, we launched our first in-stock, hand-crafted collection of outdoor furniture. Sturdy and easy to clean, the pieces have become a go-to for kitchens, mud rooms, and other hard-wearing areas, inside and out.

Like others who have provided reviews, I had a terrible experience with Hollywood at Home. I purchased a table for $2,000 that arrived damaged. They would not accept the return. This is the first review I have ever posted, but I am doing so because I feel compelled to warn buyers about shopping at this store.

Shopping here is a pleasure. I have always found the staff friendly and helpful when I need assistance. At the same time they make me feel at ease to spend as much time as I need searching through the many offerings of fabric, wallpaper and furnishings. They offer a well curated collection of designers and such beautiful fabrics. The sales staff always gets back to me promptly with availability and purchases are quick and easy.

I've had quite the opposite experience, each time I have visited this beautiful showroom, than the other reviewer. In May of 2015, this showroom was merged from two small showrooms, to the current, spacious, location which may have contributed to the issue mentioned below. The selection of fabrics is beautifully displayed, incredibly diverse and would please even the most discerning designer. It is a mid-century modern lovers dream as there are some beautiful, unusual finds here and each time I visit, I find something new and cleverly displayed. The staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable
