We engaged Cathy Svercl as our architect because we wanted someone who was fully committed to the "Not So Big House" concept as well as "green" innovations and aging in place design for a whole house remodeling project. Her attentiveness to these principles and commitment to details, professional relationships and management of the remodeling project resulted in a one of a kind picturesque lakefront home design.
Cathy is very professional and a hands on architect. We took more than two years with the design and she was always on time in sending changes that we requested adding her own expertise and guiding us through out the different phases of construction. It's very easy to talk to her and she was extremely patient with all the changes we asked her to make.
