Bulldog Plumbing was founded in 1992 by Jim Barlow in Stone Mountain, GA. as Jim's Bulldog Plumbing Co. Inc. During the height of the class-action lawsuit against the manufacturers of polybutylene pipe, Jim's Bulldog Plumbing became one of the leading contractors in the state of Georgia that was hired to handle the replacement of this faulty pipe.
Water service line replacements and repairs: One of our primary services since our beginning is replacing blue polybutylene pipe from the water meter to the service entrance at the house. We also replace older galvanized pipe (typically 25+ years), and occasionally PVC pipe and copper due to mature tree roots that have put stress on the water service pipe outside.
Polybutylene was once thought to be revolutionary within the plumbing industry in the United States. This specific form of plastic was implemented in high volume for plumbing pipes and fixtures from the mid 70's through the mid 90's. These plumbing pipe systems were installed in millions of homes before Polybutylene Pipes were discovered to be highly defective.
Yesterday we replaced a waterline. This particular job in Snellville was in a neighborhood where the houses were built in early 1980's. This homeowner told me she was kind of like the "mayor" of her neighborhood (meaning that everyone comes to her to find good references for different services), and that she would certainly recommend our business to her neighbors if they ever had the need for their waterlines to be replaced.

Jeff has fixed a few plumbing issues for us over the last few years. We have been very happy with his work. He has always been professional and very courteous every time I have had him work at our house. I appreciate his quick response to our issues and he always explained what needed to be done and why which I truly appreciate. I would trust him to diagnose/fix any of our plumbing issues. Only plumber we will use!!

Bulldog Plumbing is the only plumbing company we've used since moving to Grayson in 2009. We always get a prompt response from Jeff - who couldn't be nicer - and today his son replaced an old defective toilet and installed a new one in under an hour. I highly recommend Bulldog Plumbing and will continue to call on them for all of our plumbing needs.

Had two separate issues in the house. One with outside valve and two issues with the water heater. Jeff was quick to respond and took care of the issues the same day. I reached out to him after hours on an off day and even then he responded to my request. Great family owned business and my go to for any plumbing issues!

Our good friend referred us to Jeff, and I’m so grateful to have found him to fix our plumbing issue. He’s very nice, responsive, patient, and helpful! Two other plumbers have looked at the water leak and told me that they either had to dig through our brick stairs or our concrete to fix the leak, but Jeff found a great alternative without breaking our front porch or driveway. They had to perform a super difficult dig to make this happen, but they did it! His crew did not make a single damage and even saved our bush, so impressive! Would highly recommend Jeff to my family and friends!!

This is my first review ever and I felt the need to write it because of my experience with Jeff of Bulldog Plumbing. We called Jeff in the fall of 2018 due to a leak with our main line into our house. His pricing was reasonable so we decided to let him replace the line for us. He did a great job and we were satisfied with his work. The following spring i decide to turn on my sprinkler system to water the grass and it appeared that one of my pipes burst so I contact my sprinkler company to inspect the system. They located the issue which happened to be one of the lines was capped off in their words

We were in urgent need for plumbing help at our family business and Jeff at Bulldog Plumbing came to our rescue. He was quick to respond to our need, sent out his repair man to work on the problem. Quoted us a time and Lowell showed up in less time, worked with camera tipped snake to look at clog location. Replaced wax on toilets, fixed clogs reseated toilets and cleaned up work area good as new. Indeed would have Jeff and his team back for any future plumbing issues! "GOT A CLOG? The blue PB pipe broke at the foundation of my home. Called Jeff on a recommendation. He was on time to perform an evaluation and estimate...which is an important first impression.
