Service founder, is a graduate of The Peterson School and Northeast Institute of Air Conditioning.
Chambers Heating & A.C. Service offers our clients nearly 20 years of experience in the field of heating a cooling. We offer complete installation services for all heating and cooling equipment, including HVAC, central air and central heating. These services include everything from the removal of the old equipment to the installation of new ductwork, copper and cast iron piping, electrical, PVC, and even concrete work.

I have split units in my townhome that were not functioning right. Chambers was super responsive, came out the same afternoon I called and had it fixed by the next morning. We had another company in before Chambers and they said they were unable to fix it. Chambers never gave up and fixed it for a reasonable price. Thank you so much! We are staying cool!

Do not use Chambers. We reached out to Chambers last winter initially to service our system that was making a weird noise. They only text, not call. This made communicating with them extremely difficult the entire time. The morning they were supposed to arrive at 9 am so I took the day off from work. They didn't show up until several hours later with no communication regarding that.

The man who serviced our heater had never seen our type of system before. He tinkered with it for a couple hours and finally "fixed" it. A few days later we were without heat. We called them several

I live in Lawrence and was effected by the Columbia Gas disaster. No one in South Lawrence and Parts of North Andover had gas. I was fortunate to have all my appliances electric except for my furnace. This happened September 13,2018. We were told that everyone who had appliances that were attached with gas needed to be replaced. Columbia Gas said this should be a week to two week project (that turned into 3 months) I called Stephen Chambers on a very early Saturday morning. I found him on yelp and he had excellent reviews. We hired this company to repair our faulty central air. We found them to be very responsive and Kevin diagnosed a difficult to solve problem. He went above and beyond to help us, including texting us on the weekend to see how it was doing and showing up multiple times at our house when various problems were discovered. In addition, we found him to be very personable and friendly. We are very happy with the service we have received.

I scheduled a service call for Friday. But my gas furnace went down on a Monday night. So I called on Tuesday and they fit me into their busy schedule. They came Tuesday afternoon. Explained everything to me. They fixed my furnace temporarily and ordered a part. So we have heat again! I would recommend this company to anyone in Wakefield town area. They will send me a bill for 1 hours work and for the part. Very fair company in my opinion.

I need to have our 61 year old oil tank replaced. Stephen Chambers came out looked at the system, even underneath, which others didn't do, gave me an estimate way lower than the other companies. We scheduled the day and time, and he was on-time, professional and very courteous. I would recommend them highly.

Clearly, they do not want any business. We were one of those people who suffered a nasty burst pipe over Valentines Day weekend when the temperature took an awful dip. It ruined our couch, rug and floor in our den. Our cast iron baseboard heating was shot.. We finally got Chambers to come out when so many others were not available. A big gold star for that. He was very nice in telling us what needed to be done and in re-piping our system so that we could get heat in the rest of my condo. A bit disappointed in Chambers. They were great in the beginning. My appointment got scheduled quickly. Kevin arrived on time and was super polite and nice. He seemed very knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed and fixed a few minor issues with our central AC. Sadly, the system was still not funtioning properly.

Unfortunately, that is where the praise for Chambers ends. They were unable to figure out what was wrong. He "tried" to put freon in the system but said it didn't take any. After he couldn't get any freon in, it was time for him to leave. He told I would hear back after

We needed to replace our heating system in our Condominium building this year and contacted Chambers Heating & A Service. We were nervous at the beginning because it was a very expensive job and we did not have any previous experience in this business. Stephen, the owner, came 3-4 times to meet with our trustees and explained all details, answered our multiple questions.

I made an appointment with these guys at least 3 weeks in advance of the date I wanted, which they confirmed. Day of the appointment comes, I have to stay home from work because it's a 9am appointment, which would have been fine if they actually came.

9:40 comes, they're still not there. No phone call, no nothing. I call them, they basically say they're busy and not coming. If they knew they would not be able to make the appointment time, I would have appreciated a call saying so.
