I went into Isabella yesterday for the first time and what a treat! I had walked by there often but had never gone in. The staff was so helpful and nice and there were at least 20 things I was ready to buy immediately. Showing amazing restraint I bought one small gift. They wrapped it beautifully. I'm going back to get some more things. Whoever is their buyer has a great eye and magnificent taste. This is one of the nicest stores I've been in since moving to Charlotte!

Isabella reminds me of an aging starlet: glamorous, correctly coiffed and powdered, but with bags, bulges, and wrinkles even Botox can't touch. There are luxury items aplenty here: high thread count Italian linens, pricey boudoir candles, luxury bath items, and a limited selection of upper-end nightwear.
The staff is courteous and polite, but with the insouciant air that says, "unless you are sitting on a trust fund we are only mildly interested in dealing with you." Which is correct, because unless you are sitting on a trust fund, I would suggest trying your luck at Tuesday Morning
