In 1990, I had the desire to live in a log home and began the process of buying a log kit. With the purchase of the kit, I was given the promise of a builder who would build it into my dream home. That builder never came. Out of necessity and through perseverance, I took the log kit and built the home myself.
You have built us a beautiful home. Even though there were some challenging things, and we were trying to participate from 800 miles away, we continue to be grateful that the most important decision - who should build our new home - was the best one we could have made. 1 Licensed General Contractor - You will have the piece of mind knowing that a licensed GC will be responsible for your dream home from start to finish.
We wanted a log home for years, and were excited to find a company that would be responsible for a custom turn key home. Having one company to work with is exactly what we needed to make our dream come true. Our "turn key" home is what sets us apart from the rest of the log home industry. This means that Old Hickory will be responsible for the entire process, or "turn key" of your home.
Paul's experienced eye helped us site the house on the land, and he is so skilled with log that he had practical solutions to any design problem we came up with. God bless Teresa, because she kept us on budget all the way through. We can proudly say that our home was completed just when Paul said it would be, and not one penny over budget.
