I bought 3 base cabinets from them. The sale person Ivan took me upstairs to show me the cabinets which is against store safety rules. We marked the cabinets I purchased because almost all of them were not properly assembled. When my crew went to pick up cabinets they were not given the ones we marked. They refused to bring the correct cabinet out. No one there takes responsibility for anything. The sales guy blamed the warehouse and then gave me the run around. No one can do anything they keep saying. Further I was spoken to very rudely and hung up on by Jay. He lied to me about a callback that

I reached out to inquire about some Cheyenne stain grade prehung doors. Kathy McCurdy reached out and assisted with my purchase. I ordered the doors on January 5th. I didn't expect the doors until mid-February to first of March. To my surprise, the doors arrived January 25th. The doors were very well protected for shipping. I could not be more pleased.

We purchased a new front door from this store and were assisted throughout the process by Rene Mejia Jr. Rene went above and beyond on multiple occasions, regularly communicating with our family, sharing insights and tips, helping with referrals, and ultimately helping deliver the product to our door step. Very disappointed in my visit to the store. There was a couple of items that they didn’t have which is fine I figured that they wouldn’t. But I was looking for some unfinished cabinets and the guy told me they were in the back underneath the American flag. So I proceeded to walk back there and looked at their cabinets and found some that may have worked. So I walked up front to try to get a price of the cabinets and he couldn’t give me the price of the cabinets he said that he would need to know the dimensions.

My wife and I recently were in Surplus Building Material looking for kitchen cabinets for our upcoming renovation. While there we worked with Ivan to design a kitchen for us and he was wonderful. Helpful, attentive, and he gave us exactly what we wanted. We returned back to the store today (11/6) to purchase the design that Ivan had drawn up for us. We we arrived a salesman greeted us and we explained why we were there but we added we needed to make one minor adjustment to Ivan’s design. Where to start? Surplus Building Materials and MACK have become our new best friends. Mack is so personable and understanding of all the needs we have. He is friendly and puts the customer first always. The contractors they use are respectful and nice. They do it all. We had our master bathroom redone completely, master bedroom floored with wood floor, and all of our exterior doors replaced. The iron door offerings are top notch and obviously came out beautifully. This is an interesting place. There are 2 types of places here in one location.
You are pretty much self-serve in the builder surplus area and you should have an idea if what you are trying to accomplish. There are people to answer questions but no one follows you around trying sell you anything. Relaxed atmosphere. Truly a warehouse look and feel. Bring your own tape measure and a rag to wipe your hands because some of the materials are dusty.
They do have a design showroom if you need designer help and here they have sales people and top grade factory direct materials in there. Lots of samples
