I have 2 sets of Larson Tradewinds double storm doors. They were installed in 2013 from Lowes. The handles on both sets of doors keep falling off! It's a great deal of to get locked out in the rain and hope someone is home to answer the door bell at another door entrance. I've complained every year and all I got was new set of set screws. It didn't work. The door handles keep falling off. A piece of garbage. Also, the flashing ripped off on the bottom of the door after a few years...garbage.

I purchased the screen door the handle was easily broken I had a bow in the bottom of the door I could see outside. They requested pictures which I sent with no reply from this company. This door is one of the most worst doors I have ever purchased its worst than the one I replaced . If I could give it a zero I would.

We purchased a full view storm door and paid Lowes to install it. After a month, the glass shattered without anything hitting it. We called Larson and spoke to a very nice lady. She agreed to send us a new glass. However she sent the wrong one. We called again and got the wicked witch of the East. She said the error was our fault. Evan though the recording of the first conversation indicated otherwise. She also told us we should be more
Carefully when requesting a part.
The correct glass arrived today. Installing the plastic straps that holed the glass in place is awful.
Now the door

We had a new Larson storm door installed in late spring. When we transferred the glass for the screen as the weather got warmer, we noticed the screen was very loose on the frame, and decided to try to exchange it the next day. That evening, my adult son stopped over to our house, and on his way out the door, his foot bumped the bottom of the screen, bending the frame so much that it is unusable now. I called Larson's customer service to see about getting it replaced, or even better, purchasing a better quality screen with a sturdier frame. The agent I spoke with told me she was sorry but there

Initially, I was super excited about my purchase of both the white Steel door by Therma-Tru a with decorative glass window and Larson’s Security door. However, at this point, I am extremely disappointed with my purchase of the Larson (Garden View) Security door in black.
First and foremost the door squeaks all of the time when entering and exiting. Second, the door knob (top and bottom lock) is poorly designed; the top knob no longer locks and when we pull to close the door the “top” door knob doesn’t securely fastened close “UNLESS” we pull the top doorknob closed then QUICKLY lock

The door is average at best. The installation instructions are poor. The glass moveable window could not be removed to clean it until I fixed it. No instructions for that problem. In my opinion the problem was present when it left the factory. Most people would not have been able to fix the problem.
Larson was a good door company. Not so sure now. I find the installation instructions. "if there is a problem with your door, don't take it back to the retailer, call us" to be a joke. That way we can give you the run around and Menard's is not bothered with our product

Poor quality storm doors. Spring for sliding screen was defective and broke within 2 minutes of installation. New parts were provided under warranty and also failed in the first use, this time also tearing the screen in the process. I'm returning to Lowe's and doing what I should have done the first time around- BUY PELLA products. Poor quality and not what I expected from Larson.

I have a Larson door that came with the home we bought which is about 17 years old. I needed some small parts for this door that were damaged so I contacted Larson. They got back to me promptly, had the parts even though the door was 17 years old, sold them to me at a VERY reasonable (read pennies) price and shipped them at no cost!

I would never buy pella doors again from anywhere. After 15-20 years they have completely fallen apart. I have had cheaper doors that have lasted my whole life (40 years). The pella storm doors started with small spots that looked almost like water damaged cardboard? And from there completely disintegrated within a year. Pella gave us an $80 voucher per storm door but why would we buy more?? Very disappointed. I know warranties don't last forever but expect more out of a company that seems to have a reputation of quality. Would expect them to stand behind their product. My guess is the window

We bought the door from a local big box retailer. We had a handyman install it as we needed the door frame to be built out a bit. He assembled the door and installed it. We are very happy with the door so far. Its only been a few weeks but it closes well, the screen slides up and down smoothly, and it looks great!

Had several storm doors installed. All turned out to be very low quality and after less than a year are literally falling apart. Customer service has also been very lackluster. Larson does not seem to stand by their products at all and would rather make excuses than admit they put out an inferior poorly designed door. I will never buy another Pella or Larson product again. I expected more from a locally made product.
