In most homes, the stair system is the first thing a guest see's when they walk into the foyer. Adam's can transform your current stair system by changing out the old carpet over your stairs to new hardwood stair treads and risers. We are also proud to offer complete stair system makeovers. This includes replacing balusters, hand railings and newel posts.
We love hardwood flooring for the beauty of its unique characteristics; the patterns in the wood grain and the natural color of the wood make a subtle statement about the look and feel of your home. While these characteristics make for original floors with many happy homeowners, staining your hardwood floor can add another dimension to the overall look of your floors.
The sanding process varies which each floor. We determine the appropriate grit of sandpaper to use based on the condition of the wood floor. The average floor starts with sanding with a belt sander with a 50 grit belt followed by an 80 grit, and a 100 grit belt. In between sanding with the belt sander we use a Clark edger to sand with 60 grit followed by 80 grit and finally 100 grit sand paper along the walls.

We have been very pleased with the new hardwood floor. Eric, our installer, matched the new with the existing wood floor perfectly. Adam and Eric were very professional and honest with their recommendations of how the flooring should be installed to meet our expectations. Always communicated with us on what to expect each day. Installation was timely, Eric kept the work area neat and organized. We have already referred them to two of our neighbors.

I cannot recommend Adam's Hardwood Flooring enough!! We renovated our house, changing out gold wood, redoing our staircases, removing carpet and adding wood-it was a big job. Adam and his team were AMAZING, they were knowledgeable and professional. Adam was always available to answer questions, and his team was nice to have around and took pride in their work. I cannot recommend Adam's Hardwood flooring enough!! I attached some before and after photos to show how awesome their work is! Do not hesitate to call Adam's Hardwood Flooring!!

I contacted Adam to refinish my hardwood floors and replace a handrail system in my newly purchased home. Adam and his team went above and beyond on my project and the final product exceeded my expectations. Adam was very flexible and accommodating with timing due to some issues I ran into with another contractor working on other projects in the house. Adam's Hardwood Flooring is a first class act and my wife and I are thrilled with the outstanding work and craftsmanship that went into our flooring project. We had initially planned to have the floors refinished but that quickly grew into wanting to remove all the carpet on the main floor and add additional hardwood to what was already there. We also desired to have the staircase updated as well. When Adam came out to our home, his enthusiasm and love of his job was obvious. Adam's Hardwood Flooring installed 550 sq feet of solid hardwood and tied it into our existing hardwood. All hardwood was then refinished to match. Additionally we installed new hand rails and balusters on our steps. The work was performed on schedule and without incident. It looks fantastic. We could not be happier with the work and would not hesitate to use them again. They are not the cheapest but they are the best.

I definitely recommend Adam’s Hardwood Flooring. We got an estimate from another company that was cheaper, but decided to go with Adam’s because of the responsiveness and professionalism and good reputation. We had a lot of questions beforehand, and Cameron patiently answered all of them in detail. We were very happy with how the dust containment system kept the dust to a minimum. Everything was always incredibly neat and clean when the work was done for the day. The work finished on time and we are enjoying our floors, which are the originals in our 1948 house. They were buried under layers

His crew was great to work with and cleaned up each night before they left and their dust containment system was excellent. I would highly recommend this company.
