Arko Moving helped me move from the DMV to Philadelphia! Despite the difficulty of finding a place to park the truck because of the impossibly narrow one ways in Philly, they managed to move all of my furniture in super quickly with no issues. No complaints and super happy with the service, highly recommend!!

The Arko movers were great. I found them through Moving Staffers and even though there was a serious miscommunication with Moving Staffers and Arko which caused some timing issues the Arko team after a discussion of expectations were fabulous. Arthur, Darell, and Juwan (I believe) were personable, efficient, adaptable. The apartment building I was leaving gave us a lot of trouble with the moving out process and this team dealt with every change and made sure my moving needs were taken care without creating an issue with the building. If I return to the area I'd call them directly for their services

No complaints. I was very pleased with the service provided. Basically, I needed a POD unloaded in Manassas and delivered to my Pentagon City apartment on a relatively short notice. Also, it was a small move and I didn't want to pay a ton. Arko came thru for me!
I booked via Yelp and was contacted and confirmed right away. On move day, the two gentlemen arrived and unloaded my POD in 30 mins flat. Most of my billed time was spent coming to Arlington from Manassas which I totally understand. However, price was still reasonable. Everything was professionally done and my items were handled

I was moving from an apartment to a single family home. Arko moving did the best job I've seen for a moving company. They moved everything efficiently and quickly. They also did a great job packaging and wrapping all of our furniture so that it wouldn't get damaged. They were on time and did a great job! Will definitely be using them next time I move and recommending them to everyone I know.

I wasn't going to write this review and instead let my experience just be water under the bridge but it's taken a month and a half now to pay back the fee Arthur (the owner/ founder) and I agreed on due to improper handling of my move. I have not received the $200 back that Arthur promised to pay after many email reminders.

I must say Arko is probably one of the best movers I have used. I am a single mom, so moving is hard for me.
My only request to owner is to please ask one of guys to not ask to microwave his popcorn. My step dad died from Corona so I am very worried because Arthhur's guy used my microwave for his popcorn!
Also, they copied all of my info from my ID, saying it for some state law. What is it? I said ok. As a woman, I did not want to argue with guys.

Do not hire this moving company. They arrived 90 minutes late. They did not follow instructions to wrap items like the sofa or arrange dining room table chairs properly. (They were awkwardly stacked and wedged into a box containing a mirror.) They did not follow instructions to disassemble a gold desk which was damaged as a result. They inexplicably loaded a mirrored desk on its side with the heavy drawers on top, causing the whole item to buckle under the weight. A replacement was bought for $328. The dining room table's glass top was poorly wrapped in pads and just stacked on top of items

I will start by saying that our 3 man crew were very friendly and polite. However, we hired them to move our stuff out of our 2500 square foot townhouse and they were not able to fit all of our stuff onto their truck. I meticulously listed all furniture and box count room by room prior to booking them so I felt like I did my part, but unfortunately they were unable to follow through on moving all of our belongings. I was not offered a discount or any solution of how to get the rest of my stuff to our new home 3 hours away. We ended up having to spend another $500 to book a uhaul and move it ourselves

I hate to be their first 3 star review but our experience was vastly different from the 5 star reviews which is the reason I hired them in the first place. We moved a month and a half ago, the 3 man crew that showed up were very nice, had great attitudes and were polite but that's kind of where it stops. It took them from 11:20-8:30 at night to move our 3 bedroom condo. We didn't have a ton of furniture, enough to fill their truck. I had a very short distance move and was struggling if hiring movers was going to be worth the money. When I received the quote from Arko, which was much less than others, I was a bit nervous, but everything was Excellent. The office kept in constant contact with me to confirm scheduling and answer questions. The team, who were amazing, showed up on time and ready to go. The two gentleman who executed my move were very polite and didn't waste one minute. They never stopped or slowed down until my move was complete. All of my boxes and furnishings arrived to my new location in perfect condition

One of the worst moving experiences of my life. Company was late, didnt finish the move on time, charged doubled the written estimate, and damaged walls and furniture. In addition, the movers and owner complained about stairs incessantly and were verbally aggressive regarding extra charges. Do not use under any circumstances!

Unfortunately these guys had to cancel on me due to an emergency but they still took great care of me. First they kept me updated and contacted me immediately when they discovered the emergency and told me they already contacted another friendly mover to take care of my move in their absence. Ultimately their same deal also remained valid including day, time, and cost. Even though they didn't handle my move I still appreciate their help and will reach out againthe next time I move.

I used Arthur's team again for my move out of state in July 2017. He is extremely helpful and knowledgable and gave me great advice. I used them to ship my stuff out of state, so they packed up my apartment and then packed the truck in Manassas. It was one of those brutally humid and hot July days and they worked to both protect my items and make sure they were properly packed on the truck. There was no damage to my items on arrival, either.

I moved on August 19th- one of the hottest day this summer. I used the Yelp deal and asked for 2 movers for 3 hours to move my 1 bdrm apartment. They were running late, however called me beforehand to warn me and explain the situation. When they arrived, they ended up having 3 guys, but did not charge me for the extra man since they were running late.
