Our initial meeting with Sean was nothing short of great. I hired Payless Kitchen Cabinets, Bath & Flooring to do a simple vanity re-model for the master bathroom. This was the worst nightmare I have ever experience with a licensed contractor. They damaged my new hardwood stairs by trying to bring the old vanity down in one piece so they would re-sell it even when I told them it would not fit and would damage the stairs walls. Once the damage was done, they tried to cover it up with stain, so I would not notice. During demo, I have never had more extensive un-necessary damage. I Just had my bathroom redone and the tradesmen were remarkable and the cleanup at the end of the workday was great.
From start to finish the office staff were responsive and great to work with and helped solve any problems as quickly as possible.

Compared to a more expensive contractor that's currently working on our flooring and two bathrooms, I have to give this company props with management and timeline.
They're detailed with their to-do list and deadlines, they're very communicative. They'll tell you what you need to choose, where, when, how, and are available for questions that might require painstaking explanations--Though admittedly there is some delay with the countertop, that has more to do with supply (cursed COVID real estate/remodelling market frenzy).

I had my kitchen and restroom work in with this company and it has been a nightmare. No way has this company been in busy with this kind of company service. The ladies I spoke when making the appointment seemed amazing, Since you get to the project managers Caroline is horrible! Ask the customer you shouldn't have to keep asking for updates or continue to call because you are not receiving any of your questions answered. The deadline are not meet because she didn't order enough product and I still have no shower door. The sales rep Sean said the restroom would take 3-4 days I'm going

The experience was a process. Had somewhat of a slight communication problem with my project coordinator, Yaran, however, she worked over & beyond to make sure I was satisfied in the end. I own ten unit apartment building on the Westside of Los Angeles.
I contacted and met with Dena from Payless Kitchens to discuss a bath remodel for all 10 units.
Dena was wonderful and worked hard to obtain our business.
We were off to a good start.
Dena agreed to remodel one bathroom to "earn our business" as we were concerned about the three day turnaround.
I have a formal 20 page quote from Payless and was working out one last detail before making the deposit.
I then received an email that Dena had a family emergency so I gave her time to sort through her emergency

We had a new tub, surround, vanity, flooring put in. It's all pretty and we like it. However...
The salesman that sold us this bathroom neglected to tell us that in order to have a bathtub that we can actually use it would cost extra. This tub does not plug. Now we are being told that if we want to be able to use the tub it will cost an additional $200, on top of the over $14,0000 we are paying this company. Or as I was told by the project manager we can just buy one of those flat plastic tub stoppers and use it. I absolutely cannot believe this was done. This is the first and guaranteed the last

The cabinets are beautiful, they do contract out to a demolition crew and then installers we also had flooring and bathrooms remodeled I suggest they stick to kitchen cabinets the tub was a kids sized tub the customer service is below standard the issue was finally resolved with the tub we had to keep calling to keep the ball rolling the shower came damaged and they only make them a certain time a month the project took way longer then they said and the only reason it moved was because we kept calling

We waited for years to remodel our kitchen, and we chose Payless and we loved the job they did.From the initial consultation, to the install, it was about as smooth as it could get.They make it clear from the beginning that your going to have to get a contractor to do the tasks that they dont do such as ,plumbing,electrical, painting.Once you get those jobs covered, you will be fine.Its a little overwhelming but you will start to see results.A special shout out to Haig,and Carlos, the project coordinator who did a outstanding job of keeping in touch.Thank you guys so much.A+++

If you wish to use this company, be prepared to self-manage the entire process. Though they give you a "project manager", this person does not have a good sense of what's going on at the site itself, and basically just acts as a scheduler. I hired a company so that I would not have to deal with project management, but I ended up having to. They also still subcontract out the work to different people for different pieces, which leads to communication issues.

Payless performed a complete kitchen remodel on my home. Starting with the demo of the existing kitchen, the crew was very professional and respectful of our home. As for the installation crew, the cabinets went up quick. The countertop guys worked and installed in 1 day. And lastly the tile backsplash took one day, but they ran out of material and rebounded quickly. I grew up in construction my whole life and this company did great and worked well with my attention to detail.

I can't believe how my kitchen turned out! Payless worked seamlessly with my contractor to complete my kitchen.

We went through the quote process with PKC. Our specialist was Haig. He was very friendly and helpful, and he was able to answer all of our questions. You can tell that this company has a massive schpiel that all their service reps are required to use. There's a lengthy presentation with lots of "use a licensed contractor" and "we're the best for these reasons" stuff to support their legitimacy. I think this is to create trust between contractor and customer since, as we all know, contractors are notoriously sketchy. The presentation had dozens of scary statistics
