I have an incomplete door project that I have been waiting for over 2 months to get resolved. I have called them at least 10 times and I cannot get my issue escalated and resolved. This is how they left it.

The crew from San Marcos Iron Doors San Antonio did an amazing job installing our rails! Mario and his crew are very professional and do high quality, excellent work. Even though the rail measurements were off, they totally took care of it. We needed help with the paint understanding the difference between copper and bronze and Kain, a manager and very professional and helpful, took care of it as he sent Carlos to paint the rails. Run away from this company. Bought a door from them. When the door and crew arrived for installation the door looked awful; dented and rusty. I refused delivery and asked for the owner. Owner arrived and stated that they would fix the door and it would look great. When I asked what happens in a few years when it rusts again and the dents reappear after the spackling cracks or falls off. He said “not to worry, if that happens, which it won’t, we stand by our products and will fix it.” Well, it happened. May 29th signed documents for a manufactured door and paid 50% $1600, never received a update or completion notification. Called Tony Jalomo for a update (About 5 weeks the door was complete) he informed me he would be scheduling me a install date when other business has been established in the North Dallas area they would then install my door. This never happened because I followed up about three weeks later and I heard him over the phone calling operations to schedule the install he said he would do three weeks ago. STAY FAR AWAY FROM SAN MARCOS IRON DOORS! The installers do not speak English so they act like they don't understand what you're saying to them & when they installed our double entry arch doors we notified them that the doors are uneven/not lined up from top to bottom & they did not allow for Sheetrock either so now the Sheetrock stands out 1/2" from the door trim on the inside but they told us "don't worry, we will fix all that & do the adjustments when we come back to install glass." We hired San Marco's Iron to fabricate and supply over 40 doors and windows for a custom home we are building. So far we have pieces of units but none are complete. San Marco's told us to just come pick up the glass and other parts and complete the project ourselves. We have turned this over to our attorneys to seek financial damages and look at criminal aspects as well.

Ordered a door back in August 2017 as a new build. It was a single, minimal design iron door. Was told it takes 6-8 weeks for it to come in, (great, because the house needed to be finished by the very end of Dec) so we put down the deposit. 10 weeks go by and still no word about our door. No calls, no emails, absolutely ZERO communication had occurred since ordering our door. The San Marcos Iron Door company refuses to honor their 24 month paint warranty and is arguing with me about their last day on the job site. I have documentation they were still painting stairs and handrails less than 24 months ago and forwarded the information to the owner, Marco Soto. Their customer service department was extremely hateful on the phone and told me I should have notified them sooner. This experience (over $40,000) spent with them has been a s##t show from the very beginning.

Frustrating experience! For 8 months, from start to finish, of a project, timelines were never accurate. The items look good and the quality might be there but the customer service experience will definitely keep me from going back. As a professional Home Stager/Designer I would not be able to recommend this company to my clients. Staff turnover is very high and you seldom speak to the same person about the same project. They do much more than doors. They built me a 17 foot high stine fireplace. They assisted me in designing this from a picture . I sat in the beautiful office and worked with Trica and Liz. They finished tis very fast. The cost was very reasonable- and the workmanship superb. The crew that did the installation was professional and detail oriented. When there was an adjustment needed I called Tricia and she see the Crew over immediately and they made it perfect. This was made to order and its unique and impressive. This is my go to place for any stone or doors from now on.

I wish I would have seen these reviews prior to paying 50% upfront for our two doors back in January of 2014 that are still not completely installed as of today, 18 JULY 2014. Terrible communication from the entire team, installers don't speak English, operations manager won't return calls and when he does the information is inaccurate, owner has no control over her business and will make appointments that her team does not honor.
