We had so looked forward to purchasing a new home with Paras homes. We know that Paras Homes had a great reputation for building a quality homes. The difficulty was with the sales person. We never got a rough price that was accurate for the cost of the new home. When we finally committed to reserving a lot, suddenly the price is up $50,000 to build and The home we were living in had sold already. We were between a rock and a hard place. We met with the sales person about four times. In those four meetings three times he said I’ve been selling real estate for 42 years. The salesman indicated that

I lived In the development of Valley Springs for 5 years while Paras built homes in there. I saw the homes in every stage of construction and I can say that these homes are decent, but nothing you would expect for the price you are paying. At 2 different times they had contractors working several blocks away from my home and neither one of them could stop saying the F word every other word at the top of their lungs. I hired one of his subs and was subsequently ripped off by them. Another one of their subs came out to give me a bid and never got back to me. Why he would deal with such subcontractors

My mother is looking to possibly build a home and on their website they show the perfect size home for a single retiree. When I called they said "sorry we're not building those right now, we're only building the $300 / $400 thousand dollar homes. Then take the smallest ones off your site or put up a disclaimer instead of wasting people's time. So if your in the market for a home under $300,000 don't look here they can't help you or even talk you to see what you need. Shameful.

We contracted with Paras Homes in late 2012 and moved into our home in June of 2013 as promised. The entire process was very professional and extremely well organized. We made some minor changes as we built but that did not hold up the process and I felt they were priced fairly. We were extremely pleased with the end result from a quality standpoint and couldn't be happier with the neighborhood we chose as we believe the standards Paras has for their neighborhoods will help our home hold it's value much better than many of the other choices out there for new homes.

Difficult to deal with. They are like we have 30 years of experience so we know better about what you want then you do. Way over priced for what you get, sure the quality is probably fine, but I'm not paying for someone's name. Some models have very little or poor curb appeal. They have one model that looks like its from the 60's or early 70s and is absoultly ugly. Would not even want to live next to that eyesore.
