The two methods of rating are Sound Transmission Class (STC) or Sound Transmission Loss (STL). MegaMet's proprietary assemblies were tested in accordance with ASTM E-90 and achieved up to STC-56, using the rating system established in ASTM E-413.

Do yourself a favor and do not use this company. I am regretting ever using Megamet Industries. They got my entire order wrong which failed our inspection test. I will only use reputable manufacturers from now on that have legitimate testing with documentation. This place is a joke. I don't know how they are still in business.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUISNESS!!!
I have been ordering doors and frames from this company for 15 years and have never had an issue until the former owner sold the company to Premier. With the new owner & management came a massive decrease in quality, competence, and experience. My products have been completely wrong ever since the company was sold. I acquired inside knowledge that Premier fired 90 years worth of experience at Megamet. This explains why Megamet can not fabricate there own products correctly. I've noticed they care more about their new investors than their own customers. I don't know

Megamet is a terrible employer. They employ lots of folks that they know can't gain employment elsewhere. The owner is greedy and does not care about the people that are the backbone of his business.
Refuses paid vacations to his employees while buying himself an airplane.
No Christmas or any other kind of bonuses paid to his hard working employees.
