Architecture & Urban Design, PC has been a part of Detroit's evolution and reconstruction for nearly two decades. Architectural Systems Commissioning Services involves: Review and confirmation that building systems and components meet design and performance specifications. This includes monitoring, documenting, and reporting to confirm that required submittals, tests, certifications and project close out procedures have been followed.
Construction Administration Services typically involve: taking actions to assure that the design created to meet the Client's program is built by the Contractor as intended by the Architect.
The architect typically visits the site periodically to observe and document on site construction activities, Review contractor submittals, Make recommendations to the Client regarding Contractor's applications for payment, Issue certificate of substantial completion.At the close of the project the Architect will arrange the collection of warranties and operating manuals from the contractor for delivery to the Client.

Include drawings, specifications, and schedules prepared by the Architect and Engineering Consultants that show in detail how the Client's design shall be built. Construction Document Quality Assurance services on documents prepared by other architects. We do an external review of their documents to help identify: areas needing clarification, potential conflicts, additional coordination with other disciplines and omissions.
