We have an old Bitwel gas furnace installed in 1937 & had not been maintained since 1992. Julian was our service person. He was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, on time, easy to reach by phone/text. He was able to repair our furnace and we did not need to replace it. We plan to use them as our yearly HVAC service provider.

LOVE LOVE everyone here, great business! Super responsive and knowledgeable. I own Hayes Valley Medical & Esthetics and Both Julian and Rudy, took great care of us. They serviced both our offices, one in SF and one in Marin during these crazy covid times. Both offices are because of their recommendations equipped with air scrubbers and the new safety standard Merv 13 filters! My clients and staff are now working in a safer filtered environment, thanks Patriot Mechanical! Plus, I highly recommend the maintenance plan so you relax and know your meeting the new safety standards all year long!

Called Patriot for general servicing and to determine why I was not getting heat upstairs. Got an appointment in 2 days and Julian came out within the 2-hour window. He was friendly, efficient, seemed knowledgeable, and was able to determine that the upstairs thermostat (which had been replaced by a friend during the summer) was not installed properly. After adjusting the wires, heat arrived! He also showed me a potential problem with the main zone panel (burn marks) indicating that it would likely need to be replaced in the future. No hard sell to replace immediately, which I appreciated.

Very prompt service, very quickly performed!
They were called out to service a heat pump, and replaced a faulty capacitor. All done in under 45 minutes!

I have been meaning to post this review for about two weeks now but you know life gets in the way. Long story short my ac broke down Saturday and I called approximately 6 different companies hoping someone could come out since it was super hot and we can't live without our AC. Lo and behold Patriot Mechanical were the only ones that picked up and sent a tech named Julian to our house early in the morning. Julian was awesome and friendly. He was able to fix our AC and was very thorough in explaining what caused the issue and what he would replace. Overall, I am very happy with their service

My wife and I have used Patriot for years. My wife in her real estate days always relied on Jeff and Julie to come through for her and they always did. Now, we rely on them for our own home. With the recent heat wave we've had at the end of July 2019, we our AC went out and Julie and team were able to come through yet again, getting someone out within 48 hours (even with the heat), and we are now back to being able to use our AC unit. Time and time again Patriot and team are quick to respond and resolve our HVAC problems.

I would highly recommend their services.

Lost my heat and although they couldn't fix it over the weekend, they tried to help over the phone. The first business day, Monday they were out and fixed the furnace. Great service. They fixed a broken part and even programmed it for me. Glad that I had them install my new furnace 8 years ago. First problem needing service

My wife and I were actively evaluating the purchase of a house in Novato. I had some concerns about the condition of HVAC system - age, air flow, thermostat, etc. Our realtor recommended Patriot as a reputable company that we could contract to do an additional HVAC inspection at an EXTRA cost. On Aug, 15, 2017, one of their technicians came to do an inspection. It was uneventful, and frankly nothing revealing, however commented that we had a 2 zone damper system and older compressor that seemed to be functioning. When i asked about the temp inside the house, he said temp was reading correctly.

Prompt, thorough and professional. Technician very nice and knowledgeable. Fixed our air conditioner same day even though he had to go out and find a part. Also made sure there were no other related issues. A great experience.

Very reliable and helpful! Julie was wonderful in terms of getting a technician fast and being so good as to follow up with me. Working for a property management company, I only prefer to use reliable HVAC repair vendors and am happy to say that Patriot Mechanical is that and more.

They were on time, called ahead, and very courteous. He came out to fix my oven and diagnosed it in no time. He noticed us bringing a fridge in through our garage and offered to help, then installed it for us even though it was not part of the original call. He also repaired a dishwasher issue at no cost. Nice, straight forward, knowledgable. We will be handing out a lot of his business cards.

Horrible awful service don't waste your time. I called because we had a problem with getting hot water. The tech came out and said he would follow up that day with a price for the gas control thermostat or getting a new water heater. He said water heaters die at 10!years and need to be drained and cleaned every year. After talking to others I found out mine is a new model and him ringing the cash register doesn't apply to me. The day he was supposed to call he did not. The next day I called the office and was told today someone would call with a price and come out. I waited until 4 30

Horrible service. These people installed the heater when my house was built. We needed service and after waiting a week Ron finally came out to the house and replaced a circuit board. Unfortunately he wired it wrong and the heater was laboring all the time it was on. The service guy came back out and told us we needed a new blower. This did not seem right so we called another company. The second company came and fix the problem by moving one wire from the wrong terminal to the correct terminal. No need for a new ($500.00) blower

Herewith, a little history: Last winter, our heater began working intermittently and eventually stopped heating altogether; we called Patriot Mechanical because they had installed the original system in our house (in fact, in our entire development), and set up an appointment for a technician to come out. First long story short: the tech, Ron, showed up 5 hours late (I kid you not!), spent 10 minutes 'troubleshooting' the problem, then declared that he would have to come back the next day because it was late and had been a long day for him... Impeccably honest, Patriot Mechanical sent someone to my house after I had a $10,000 bid to fix my heating system from another firm. After inspecting the system, and duct work for 30 minutes, the technician explained to me why none of the work really needed to be done and said "I guess I just talked myself out of a job." I will certainly call them when I really need work done.

Patriot Mechanical is top notch. We had them install a new heating and air condition unit to replace our out dated system. They are professional, reasonably priced and are a pleasure to work with. We moved a year later and once again needed to replace an out dated heater and add AC to the system. They once again did a great job.
