PROPS to PEP Solar!!!
4 years ago we had PEP Solar install solar panels on our roof. At the time I was very worried because our house was 20 years old and our red tile roof had never received any kind of service. I told PEP Solar at the time I did not want to move forward with the project because I felt at some point in the near future the roof would need to have the underlayment replaced. 20+ year Old Home in Arizona with a red tile roof = Significant Roof repair will be needed soon.
Pep Solar told me not to worry and they would, one time only, remove and replace the solar panels IF the roof

We had a great overall experience working with Pep Solar. We had some hiccups in the beginning, but they got everything squared away and back on track quickly. Things can happen and what we appreciated was the communication and responsiveness. That's very important to us. We had two Tesla batteries installed. The guys that came out to work on the project were great! Very professional, on time and friendly. This is an interesting review to write as there were many things about working with PEP Solar that were great.., and a couple others that were not. Their Sales Rep (Dallas) was instrumental in getting us to choose them in the first place. His ability to explain the options, process, financial advantages and disadvantages, and in general helping us to understand the current state of Solar in the state was impressive. These guys did what they said they would do. They were ontime and the tech that ran the crew at our house was very informative and knowledgeable! Our system has been working now for two months and I can watch the performance in KW hours on my phone each day. We are producing more than we are consuming but I don’t have a lot of data to report since our system is so new. It looks like we will be 20-30% over what we use so our bill should be around zero but I’m expecting to pay the service fee from APS and not much more. Or it may even give us credits for that. I would use PEP solar again!

PEP Solar provided excellent service to help get our solar connection working again. They worked persistently, in spite of the fact that parts were no longer available, to help find a solution for our older unit so that the meter could function properly. We highly recommend them for their integrity and "can do" work ethic.

PEP Solar was very easy to work with from sales to institution and for answering questions. Ales listened to my concerns and addressed them with accurate answers. The install team was amazing. These guys did a great job installing my solar, always showed up on time, if not early, and answered all my weird questions.
They even installed the system slightly outside their current preferred way at my request so that I was able to monitor my own usage with my home automation system and adjust my usage based on my current energy production.

I called a week ago to set up having a charger installed for my Tesla. I was given an appointment on Tuesday at 2pm with Dallas. It was a phone appointment, so I made sure I was available to answer his call. I needed my car charger as the local super chargers are quite a distance away. Dallas never called. Now two days later, Dallas decides to call! Acted like he was calling on schedule. When I asked about the Tuesday appointment he said he left a voicemail. Which he absolutely did not. A rapidly failing solar system with a 25 year warranty is rendered useless if you can't get the parts to repair it. It started failing as early as 4 years old and is now 8 years old or so. So, minus the blah, blah, blah my responsibilility/your responsibility they installed inferior products from a now defunct manufacturer and I'm only out 25k on a partially functioning system. But for an undisclosed amount they will let me buy another system, no thanks a lot.

My husband and I paid PEP Solar over $56,000 for solar panels and a pool heater. Although we were very pleased with the original customer service and the installation of all the panels and associated equipment, PEP Solar does not follow through with resolving issues. We started having production issues within the first year of operation. Be fore warned. I used this company a year a ago. I would NOT recommend because of an on going issue. I've had to write complaints to the ROC, BBB, and the attorney general. Issue is still not resolved. Had great service in the beginning but soon as an issue becomes apparent they would shift the blame without any proof the blame involves another party. Be real careful with these guys.

Extremely disappointing! Pep Solar installed the solar system on our home. We have a concrete tile roof which has a projected life of 50 years. We were assured Pep would not damage our roof while installing the system. They caused major damage to our roof! We have numerous leaks in our roof now which we never had before they installed the solar system. Please stay away from this company for the sake of your home & sanity!

Seems like review ratings have gone down over time. Getting a total lack of communication. Install is supposed to be today but still haven't heard anything, despite repeated requests. Will update if they ever come by to install.
Ahh, 3 wks later and the install happened. Finally decided to call main office and got a lot more results than going through sales rep. Would have been nice if he told us this to begin with, rather than constantly putting us off. Install crew was exceptional. Efficient, clean and informative. Got it done in 2 days, now have to wait for all the other inspections
