Both leasing as well as purchasing your solar provide an aggressive financial return. For homeowners desiring minimum risk and maximum protection the lease or PPA (power purchase agreement) is the way to go. A lease or PPA provides system insurance, a money-back production guarantee and active system monitoring.
Matthew was so nice. The whole process of sign up, installation and turning on the solar was done in less than two months. I was skeptical about solar - I had expected it would be way too expensive to be worth it, Matthew quickly & comprehensively extinguished that doubt for me. Five years after the purchase of our system Matthew still responds quickly and with a great attitude anytime we have a question.

We had a great experience working with Matthew Tiffany. We interviewed several companies for Solar. Matthew was able to explain the whole process and was able to answer all our follow-up questions. He provided references that we were able to contact and hear about their positive experience. We decided to go with IndieSolar and SunPower for the cost, positive reviews and warranty. We had our system installed without any issues and it was activated in Dec 2020. Everything went as planned. SunPower was in constant communication to keep us informed of each step. I contacted most of the other solar companies that advertised for solar installation in my neighborhood in 2018. I needed someone who would come out to my house and explain just what would work for my location for a historical bungalow not having solar panels facing the street to the west.
Finally Matt came along and spent more than enough time with me answering all of my questions. I had him write up an estimate and included

Going solar is like buying a car for me and my family. We got 3 quotes before deciding that indie solar was the correct option for us. The reason we chose indie solar was because of matt. His attention to detail and knowledge was what we were very impressed with leading us to go with them. Job was completed on time no issues and was finished in a timely manner. Really easy and simple process as we redid our roof last year and went solar as well to claim the 30% tax credit. Indie solar was very easy to work with and I felt at ease with the whole process as solar can be a bit over whelming with so many solar companies out there. Thanks to Mattew and his assistance we were able to find a good solar system that was able to eliminate or bill and fit all on the roof.

This review is a bit outdated but, better late then never. We went solar with indie solar about a year ago from today and wanted to report that we have had no issues with our system. Good quality work from the start and we definitely like all the benefits. My worries were with the roof when I went solar. I was scared I would get leaks but they did a great job with the installation and I'm very happy with them. Indie solar deserves this great review and if your looking for a good solar company I can assure you they have my recommendation.

Just recently moved into my SD home and it's absolutely beautiful, the only upgrade I wanted to make was getting solar since California is always HOT. My friend's cousin recently got solar and so he recommended me the Indie Solar and I was connected with Matthew who was fantastic. He explained everything so thoroughly and was able to answer every single question I had. He gave me a reasonable quote and the next thing you know I have solar! It was definitely a much quicker and easier process then I thought.

I went solar with indie solar for 2 reasons, quality of panels and the fact that Matthew was very good following up with all the questions I had via email. So long story short, we got solar for a fair price, no issues in the past year. I have recommended them to my family and friends based on my whole experience going solar.

Indie solar made things very easy for us. As we have a rental property and the job needed to be done remotely. We needed someone we could trust and someone who would be willing to coordinate and follow us up with updates throughout the whole process. We found that person in Matt!!! He was very patient and follow us up with all details of the work. We are happy with our system, it does exactly what we need eliminating the electrical fee . We got the tax credit and everything went smoothly.

Me and my mother were went solar about 6 months ago , and mattew was able to help us get this done for our home. He was very informative and gave us a really good price on out 6kw system. From the point since we signed until everything was operating and running it went smooth and well. Glad we found Indie solar as they are as honest and reliable as it gets.
