Services
IPD is a project delivery method that integrates people, systems, business structures and practices to collaboratively harness the talents and insights of all participants. This reduces waste and optimizes efficiency through all phases of design, fabrication and construction. It allows for more extensive pre-construction efforts that yield projects of higher quality, faster schedules and fewer conflicts between project phases.
Lean construction consists of core principles that lead to constant improvement, elimination of waste, increased production and reduced costs. It is a way to design and build facilities while minimizing waste of materials, time and effort in order to generate the maximum value for our clients. Lean construction is a production management-based approach to project delivery; a new way to design and build capital facilities.
Target costing is a disciplined process for determining and achieving a cost for a project with specified functionality, performance and quality. All projects have a financial constraint as to whether a facility can be built that is based on the value the owner determines that the facility will bring the end user and/or what the end user is willing to pay for use of the facility.
Durotech's web-based project portal allows our clients and design team to acquire key project data from any web-based device at any time. Clients can access updated schedules, meeting minutes, executive summaries and budget information. After the project ends, owners will be able to access as-built drawings and/or BIM models as well as close-out documents.
Durotech listens to clients and develops a strategic plan to meet their needs. Each plan is tailored to the project and addresses financial controls, logistical considerations, constructability reviews, safety and risk assessment, target scheduling/costing and goal setting. We offer project team continuity, cost analysis, innovative ideas, advanced technologies and extensive pre-construction services.
