Ron completed a kitchen remodel for us about a month ago, and we are so happy with his work! It feels like a completely new space, even though we didn't move any walls. We kept the sink and the stove in the same places, but changed pretty much EVERYthing else. It was a three month long project, and with the wrong contractor it could have been torturous. Ron is helping us with our remodel and we are very pleased with his work. He takes his time to understand the scope of the project, asks many questions to ensure we get what we want and is very dedicated to quality. We brought him in mainly for finish carpentry and cabinet installation. As a bonus he helped with minor drywall repair and tile work. We've been struggling for a while to find a good way to access a small loft which opens to our dining area. A full blown staircase would take up too much space, and the barebone ladder was very difficult to use. After much research, I found pictures online of wooden retractable ladder, which was perfect for our space!

I had two closets that sat across from each other in a short hallway between a bedroom and bath. I wanted to convert the area into a "walk through" closet. The interior of the closet was being handled by another firm. On the bedroom side, I wanted a modern sliding barn door.

I engaged Ron Cohen (Nest Remodeling and Construction Services) to help expand and remodel a 3,000 square foot house in Palo Alto.

Initially, Ron was hired to assist with much of the rough carpentry. He proved to be reliable, skilled, knowledgeable, capable, and a pleasure to have on the job and we continued to employ Ron throughout the project to perform a variety of tasks.
