Marshall's is your UTILITY referral FULL SERVICE heating contractor on Whidbey Island (the only one on Whidbey Island).
Would like to say that I am truly pleased as to how quick we received a response to our no heat call. The tech came out that same day and fixed the problem without costing large amounts of money for parts not needed. We feel totally comfortable having them in our home and will recommend their service to all our family and friends.
The furnace runs blowing cold air and the heat pump won't start. Check the Air Filter and make sure it is not dirty. If it is, dirty remove the filter and turn the thermostat off and wait for 10 minutes. While you are waiting the 10 minutes, go through the home and open all the supply registers. Turn the thermostat on to heat and wait for up to 5 minutes.

Our electric furnace wouldn't go on. Called Marshall's Heating and talked to Greg about having a technician come out and troubleshoot the problem. He called me back within 2 hrs and said he would have a tech available later the same morning and would call before he came out.
Got the call and the technician, Ben, arrived when he said he would. Checked things out and found a problem with my old thermostat and problem solved. Relatively a quick fix and a fair charge for the service call.
Would recommend Marshall's for your heating needs!

Marshall's Mechanical replaced our furnace and installed air condition at the same time. From the first call for a quote Greg was quick to come by, followed up with a quote promptly, and then discussed several options for what I wanted. Their customer service is superb. I called Greg on the recommendation of a friend after I had gotten a bid from Barons. He came to the house, inspected our system and gave me a couple of recommendations for a heat pump system. I was surprised that is quote was $5000 cheaper than Barons. Yes- $5k. I was able to read up on the equipment he recommended compared to Baron and realized Baron's sales rep was adding things on that I didn't need. I gave Greg 50% down and we set a date. The Install crew were a lot of fun and had it done in a day. Thay were on time and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone

I had a 40 year old electric furnace that needed to be replaced, so I began researching what it would take to replace it with a heat pump system. I had three companies come out to assess my setup and provide quotes. Marshall's was my third call, and was recommended by a neighbor. Greg was very efficient in assessing my house and quicker than the others to follow up with a quote. I was able to schedule an install date within a few weeks of accepting the proposal. Throughout this time, their admin, Megan, was very communicative and pleasant to deal with in getting all of the requirements together

Marshalls put in my system over 10 years ago when it died in the midst of a very cold spell. They were very responsive and designed a new system that has worked much better than the old one. Since then they have maintained the system annually and always quick to come out on a question or related issue even if I view it as non-urgent. Great people to work with!!

I had a very poor experience with Marshall's Heating and AC and in particular, with Greg. My experience with Greg started out very positive. He came to my home and inspected our current propane furnace and we talked about air flow and that I should increase the return air flow to quiet the system down and make it easier on our next furnace. He was professional and got back to us in a timely fasion but I wanted to get two other bids. It took me a month to get back to him but I did because of my first impression of him and his great price on the new furnace. His quote was 1400 dollars less

We used Marshall Mechanical to sell us a new heat pump to be installed by their staff in a rental home that we were renovating. Our plans are to move into that home when it comes time to live in a single level home without stairs. So we wanted a quality product and installation. The entire process (permitting, scheduling the install, actual installation, etc.) went smoothly and efficiently. They offer a brand that is widely used in the world market but with slightly less brand recognition than the brand sold by the other ductless heat pump company on Whidbey Island. We just had an electric furnace and heat pump installed in our home. Our blower motor for our 27 year old electric furnace broke over the weekend and our whole house smelled like smoke. I was able to reach Greg Marshall, the owner of Marshall's Mechanical, on a weekend evening, and he gave me instructions to turn off the breakers for the furnace on the breaker panel and he came out first thing the next morning to assess what needed to be done. He was very upfront about the cost to replace the blower motor and the likelihood that with a 27 year old furnace, it might run into additional problems

Today was the 1st time I have used Marshall's Mechanical, but I would call them back if I needed work done. They were prompt, professional and enjoyalbe to work with. The quote given was accurate. They explained what they would be doing and when something came up I was given the information, price and option to have it done while they were here or I could consult my insurance and they could return. I would recommend them to anyone looking for furnace or a/c work.
