Awesome job! Furnace stopped working right after Christmas. Island heating was responsive and able to get to us quickly even though it was snowy and driving was not easy. Mike was able to diagnose the problem quickly, fix it and get heat back into our home! Mike was very professional and helpful explaining what the issue was. Contacted for over a year to see if a sheet metal plate could be fabricated. They even came out and measured. Then nothing and every single time we called to see what was up they said yes they know they would get back to me. Nothing…..I even said if you can’t do this let me know. Still nothing. Called for a heat pump estimate and thought perhaps that would remind them. Still nothing and the estimate was $2,000 more than a competitor. Imagine if we went with them and needed service……

The tech was very professional and knowledgeable. He showed up early, listened to my input and answered questions in a professional way that my Grandmother could have understood. He checked the parts of the system that were areas of concern for me. He explained what actions he took. He followed up with an email with report right after departing. The whole process was quick and efficient. I would use Island Heating and Air Conditioning again and would refer to family and friends.

They replaced our furnace and water heater earlier this year and so far everything is working perfectly. Today Josh inspected and serviced our fireplace. Josh and his helper were very courteous and my professional. They made sure they wore protective shoe covers before entering our home, laid down a cloth to protect our carpet and cleaned up the area before they left. We had a pleasant and positive experience with them on both occasions.

First, Island Heating & Air Conditioning were there only service folks that could come out sooner than "in two weeks." When your house doesn't have heat you can't wait for weeks for a repair. So A+ to them for that. Secondly, the actual tech they sent out, Mike Brooks, was without a doubt the best service/repair tech I have ever dealt with. Polite, professional, not only on time but early, and straight to the problem. His knowledge level was astounding and he identified the issue within two minutes of opening the heater unit. Our air conditioning decided to quit during the smoke season. I called Island Heating. The good parts: They came quickly, and they correctly diagnosed the issue (requiring a fair amount of time to replace a stuck valve). The bad part: called back many times for them to actually fix it. I got lots of excuses, but after a week I couldn't get them to schedule anything. So, that was $150 for a diagnosis that didn't help. Called a competitor (larger company). They had the same diagnosis (which we now paid for twice), and came out two days later to fix our air conditioning.

Island Heating installed a new forced air heater at my residence. My experience was wonderful starting with the initial phone call. Island Heating was prompt and courteous with all aspects of the job and gave top notch customer service. There was a little bump in the road when it came to the actual installation and it was not a problem. They came up with a solution and finished the job. Island heating and Air conditioning was so great! Eric is who I first spoke with, he was very customer service oriented and he made sure to get somebody out that day because my heat wasn't working and they didn't want me to be cold! The mechanic came out his name was Mike he was so professional and explained everything to me, he was patient and explained how to use my new thermostat and programed it for me. I'm really pleased with Island heating i'm glad I chose them and I would definitely recommend them!

We are grateful to Island Heating & Air Conditioning for their outstanding service during the recent cold snap. Their wonderful response to our urgent request to figure out what was wrong with the furnace when it suddenly quit working, saved us thousands of dollars. Without Island Heating & Air Conditioning's excellent service, the plumbing in the house most certainly would have frozen and burst. It was a simple repair for them which was completed on the spot.

My heat went out over the weekend and with it dropping into the 20s at night I really was wondering how this may work out because of the problems I've had here in oak harbor getting anyone to do any work. I went into their office in Goldie and met Rick who was really informative. the one thing I thought may be wrong with my furnace turned out to be wrong so when I got home I called back and they set me up for the next day. Michael came out, probably 30 minutes before the estimated time. got right to work and figured out I had clogged pipes which he cleared up and the furnace was back to working

I asked them to come out to give me a bid to install a furnace. He came out looked around and said I would get the bid in a couple of days. After weeks I called and was told I would get a call back and the bid send. No call, no bid. A couple of weeks later I called again and talked to the guy who came out. He said the bid was almost ready and I would definitely get it in a couple of days. No surprise, no bid. I wouldn't go with this company even if I did finally get a bid. They cannot be trusted to do what they say.

I was so pleased with how professional, and courteous they were! They were fast and efficient, and very reasonable. They were running a little late to the second service call but before they were scheduled to be at my house they called to let me know exactly what time to expect them. We had Island Heating come out to take a look at our malfunctioning gas furnace. The repairman they sent had no idea what he was doing, kept calling for consultation and came and went several times. Eventually he just replaced the filter, and they charged us a bunch of money.
The furnace continued to limp along until summer. This fall when it completely failed, we called somebody else and they fixed it in 30 minutes.
