I was very impressed with the efficiency and ease of getting two new keys made for lock boxes in my truck.
(I had called another place in town and they never even returned my call)
I spoke with a gentleman upon arrival, without even having made an appointment, and he was polite, very knowledgeable and extremely good at his profession.
He took just a few moments to figure it out and before I knew it - he was done.
His charges were very minimal, especially considering his obvious expertise and skill at assembling the internals of the lock cylinders that I presented to him.

Dave took my call and was able to see me today and got me into the car, two new key fobs programmed and 2 emergency keys cut all onsite in less than 30 minutes. He was ontime, polite and very reasonably priced. I will be using them in the future for any locksmith needs.

After our move, we were unable to open our touch pad safe, and couldn't find the key. The people at MidAmerica Locksmiths were very accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. They were able to open the safe in a timely manner, and the cost was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Mid America Locksmiths!

The only caveat to this review is the owner was friendly and genuinely tried to take care of me.
I made an appointment, DROVE MYSELF to their location ON TIME and wanted to make a copy of a car key that had a transponder in it. Easy. I already had the key cut, had 2 OEM keys to use, but I was having problems programming the key myself so I THOUGHT a locksmith would be able to handle it no problem. Same model #, same transponder signal, but after 15 minutes in my car, he came out and was unable to program the key. I thought, "man that sucks, I guess I'll take it to the dealership but

To date we've used MidAmerica at least two dozen times. They've been timely and on several occasions went above and beyond what appeared to be a simple issue yet was more complicated than we expected. I've even reached out near within minutes of closing yet they took care of getting numerous keys cut. Great customer service in my book.

I called and made a 10am appt to have a locksmith come out and make a key for my car. By 11:30 no one had shown up so I called and was told someone had called me that morning and left a vm. I told the man no one had called and found out he had called the wrong number. I told him no one told me I should be expecting a call before the appt. Instead of apologizing the man was very rude to me and stated he could not send someone out that day.
