An ADU / DADU (or accessory dwelling unit), can also be known as a backyard cottage, accessory apartment, carriage house, mother-in-law suite, or granny flat. Whatever term you use, this type of smaller home is usually an additional living space located on the same piece of property as an existing home.
Rambler home plans, or single-story homes (also known as "ranch style" homes), are ideal for those who cannot or simply don't want to use stairs. Generally, they are the most popular choice for building sites where the size of the house 'footprint' is not an issue. Most of our ramblers can easily be modified to have rooms added, modified, or removed at your request.
Multi-level home plans are ideal for smaller lots where you may have constraints on the size of your house 'footprint'. True Built Home multi-level, or two-story floor plans are designed for those who want to maximize their square footage by moving their living and sleeping space 'up' instead of 'out'.

Called looking for details on getting a feasibility study done on some land. I was transferred to Joe. I left a message explaining my needs, when he returned my call I was busy so he talked to my wife. I wasnt there for the conversation but she used to words "unhelpful" and "abrasive" to describe him. A few days later I had a follow up call from an Andy who I explained the situation to and while he did sound genuinely sorry and surprised to hear about the troubles my wife had I no longer felt comfortable using their services and I am currently looking into using a different builder. Called the Tacoma branch and spoke to Joe just making inquiries. Joe was friendly, professional and very helpful even though he knew they couldn’t help me with the project I am looking to build. Before I hung up the short call, I got information I needed and a contact for a designer. What a good service! I can’t imagine how helpful they would be building homes!

True Built home did not put the appropriate rebar in my foundation, among a myriad of other quality issues. They poured my foundation without the county approval. They built the house on top of a bad/weak and thin foundation. Carol Mann (owners wife) told me to not worry about it and trust the experts (them). They got the stop work order lifted because their engineer, John Hodge, lied to county (and admitted so in court). This was not the only issue I had with them. There were too many others to count. My project manager mysteriously left the country around the same time I hired a lawyer. Jason

A close friend used this company to build their perfect home. After seeing many great reviews online, I suggested they use them. What I liked most about this company is their perfection from start to finish. there are many home construction businesses out there, so finding one you can trust is not easy. Besides building them a beautiful home, they helped facilitate with other necessary businesses to make the process smooth. They helped my friend find a lender, and also title company and inspector to complete their buying process.

As the first customer for True Built's Seaview model, I was expecting some unpleasant surprises since there was bound to be a learning curve. To True Built's credit, the building process was remarkably smooth and the end result is an amazingly beautiful home. My husband and I had the distinct pleasure to meet with and enjoy our appointments with Travis Tumlinson at the Spokane, WA branch. He was very polite and cordial, willing to answer each and every one of our questions. There were many and he promptly gave us direct answers and was knowledgeable about every subject. That was a blessing to deal with a dedicated professional who was patient and willing to help in all aspects of the process of having a home built.
