My name is Steve Ortiz owner and founder of Affordable Family Living and a proud Colorado native. I Started my construction journey in 1980 where I began all basics of the construction industry.
In 1981 I started in the plumbing industry and soon received my plumbing license. Soon after that I opened my first business in 1987 with Ortiz Plumbing and Heating which continues to provide exceptional service today. With experience under my belt I expanded in 2001 with our second business "Affordable Family Living".
Now we have the luxury and creativity as General Contractors to provide exceptional services throughout the Denver Metropolitan and surrounding areas. AFL and Steve are an absolute pleasure to work with. We hired one of Denver's top companies that is suppose to be "done right" and had to fire them for multiple issues. Let me tell you, they have nothing to offer compared to AFL. Already making plans to have them work on a bathroom. If you're finding this, stop looking and call!

From the beginning, Steve has been highly professional. I spoke to several contractors before beginning a complete remodel of my kitchen and dining room. Steve was one of the few who actually called me back and followed through with quotes and answering questions. He took the time to make sure I was satisfied with his responses and was extraordinarily patient with me! Steve's pricing was very competitive with other contractors.
