Since our start in 2014 with two artists and a pickup truck., we've quickly grown in size and provide full size residential and commercial moving services by providing smart, careful, and efficient service at affordable prices.

We're well equipment to handle moves of any size, large or small. Started by local St. Pete musician Blake Daniels in 2014, our staff is exclusively comprised by local artists and musicians. We believe that artists are uniquely equipped to help you move in a careful, friendly, and efficient way. Here's a little more to help you get to know us!

A St. Petersburg native, Blake founded Starving Artist Movers in 2014 with just a pickup truck. Prior to starting this company, he helped manage Lakeview Movers in Chicago IL for 5 years.

Third time using them for moving. This time it was just to a storage unit instead of another apartment. They are always on time and professional. They took care with my stuff and helped make the most space out my storage unit so I can easily throw some last minute items in there. Would highly recommend them.

I echo all the positive reviews. ABSOLUTELY 5 STARS all the way. I would add more stars if Google had them. Blake from Starving Artist Movers came to help with my move. He was WONDERFUL! Prompt, professional, very responsive and courteous. He and I worked together loading and unloading my things. I cannot say enough praise for these amazing movers! We have had so many issues with the closing of our new home. I had to change dates, texted them like crazy and ask them to do extra moving. They couldn't have been more accommodating and understanding! I have been a wreck with my closing process but these wonderful folks actually calmed me down, yes my movers, not the thousands I am paying to my real estate agent and mortgage company, but my movers! I hope never to move again but if I do I will call them and you should too!!

These guys are my heroes!!! The movers I originally hired were a no show, no call, and the office was closed. With no way to get a hold of them I frantically searched for another movers. Enter Starving Artist Movers to the rescue. At 11:30am on a Sunday they not only answered their phone but called me back within 10 minutes to tell me they could make it happen. They provided an accurate expectation of time and called to keep me posted until they arrived. The guys were awesome. Contacted these guys last minute for moving a few items the next day. They were flexible, arrived on time and very friendly and affordable!! Would recommend to everyone whether for a smaller or larger move they will accommodate and with a smile on their faces!

I picked these movers based on their ratings and was disapppointed. They were prompt and friendly but really rushed through my job and damaged a piece of furniture that I had specifically mentioned was the only piece that had to handled with care as it had been recently painted.
