Over promise and under deliver. We were very excited about this company after the initial assessment which was 1.5 days to pack and up to 1 day to load but possibly done in 2 days. Plan was for pack on mon-tue and load Wednesday. So we were excepting everything to be packed Monday-Tuesday and finish late Tuesday early Wednesday. Despite reconfirming this 1 week prior, the Friday before we were called to confirm a Tuesday 1 day pack and wed load. After much back and forth and stating this was not the plan we were finally told movers would arrive Monday but packing would only take 1 day. I have moved

Excellent service. Good price offered after higher initial price. They picked up furniture we bought from a store in addition to transporting all our stuff from one house to another. They stopped unloading furniture during intermittent rain storms and did not charge us for those inactive times. They were very professional and went out of the way to do what we asked. They were all nice men who interacted with us. They were top notch.

I called for estimated pricing. The person I talked to said he would come out and price. I said I just need an estimate. He said he wanted to come out. We set appointment for Tuesday. He called on Monday and said they need to do on line/zoom type estimate. So far, NOTHING and it is Thursday at 10 pm. No follow up. Nothing. Do what you say say promptly or don’t bother. DONE

We move A LOT due to my husbands job, and this move was the BEST we have ever experienced. It was a cross country move from CA to Auburn, AL, with 6 weeks of storage. Carlton was amazing from start to finish and coordinated everything for us, from packing in CA, to loading, transport to storage, and then into the house. They went above and beyond taking care of our things, being flexible with drop off date, came back twice to get the debris and assemble furniture we weren’t able to do on moving day. We hired Lambert Transfer & Storage to move my 85 year old mother from Alabama to Florida. I had a terrible moving experience going across the country years ago, so my expectations were very low and in fact I almost expected a terrible experience. Thankfully, my expectations were exceeded on every level. Bo and his crew handled both ends of the move for us, and were simply outstanding. When I had a problem with a different mover and needed to cancel, Lambert stepped in at the last minute to accomadate my needs and pick up my items with very little notice. The customer service and sales department in Birmingham is excellent. They are very attentive to customers. I highly recommend this company for a long distance move.

Lambert Transfer completed our first move in 25 years today and I'm very pleased. The crew was professional, personable, polite and flexible. They called to let us know they were in they were enroute, their expected arrival time and worked hard all day to load our stuff, drive the 15 miles to the new place, then unload and set up the furniture as requested. I don't know what they could have done to provide better service. We did most of the packing of boxes ourselves ahead of time, and they provided all but the wardrobe boxes ahead of time at no extra charge. They made a difficult experience more
