This company is wonderful. Family owned & operated for generations. It's no wonder they've been in business so long (since 1974). They really take care of their customers & make sure that your experience is as pleasant & simple. Really great staff all the way around from the inspectors who are extremely knowledgeable to the office personnel who are so polite & flexible. You need a termite Company or pest Control company then Southwood is the answer!

Used this company for my rental property in Huntington Beach for termite inspection, fumigation and fixing recommended damages in 10/2020. Quote was higher than expected due to the "pandemic premium" as that was the provided reason. Credit card info was required as part of authorizing the work agreement. After my credit card was charged, I found out that work was incomplete!!! I discovered that part of the recommended fix was not done after I did my own walk-through. This was very disappointing to say the least, especially when I paid a higher cost. We had to spend extra time coordinating

I just used Southwood Pest Control for my termite inspection and wood repair on my house. I have used a dozen in the past, and I cannot express how impressed I was with their professionalism and work product. They were upfront with their pricing, showed up on time and completed everything as promised and in a timely manner. Their workmanship on finishing wood and extermination was exceptional. A+ company that I would use again and again if I were to remain in Southern California.

Chad was so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this company to anyone having any issues with pests. Extremely knowledgeable and very professional. Don't even waste your time!!! I really don't even want to give them a 1 star but it allows me to let you all know how bad of an experience i had. Sucks that i had to switch my day off and rearrange my week to make time for an appointment that i SCHEDULED with the Manager Jose Barragan that he ended being a no show no call. Texted him 90 minuets before my SCHEDULED appt. to confirm (got no answer) called him 30 minuets after my SCHEDULED appt. to see what's going on? (got no answer left a message on his phone). I am now running 3 hours behind everything else i had to do that day.

I live in Yorba Linda close to Valleyview and Yorba Linda Blvd. A couple of years ago when I had just moved in, I saw a Southwood service truck parked across the street. I walked over to grab a business card and ended up signing up through the field serviceman. The reason for giving 2 stars is this: A very nice gal who handles payments, named Heidi. If not for her, you'd see 0 stars.

After calling them several times about the food THAT THEY ruined by opening the freezer and not closing it after, I still HAVE NOT heard back from them. THEY JUST DO NOT CARE!
They treated me in an absolutely disgraceful way. Around $50 of my frozen food had to be thrown away (I took photos beforehand). Southwood Pest Control haven't even responded to my many calls. I am a senior, not much money to live on; I try to get frozen dinners when they are discounted.

My husband hired a well know company to do a pest spray on our house, and it came with a free termite inspection. Guess what? We had termites! They quoted us the price of half a car to tent the house. I decided to get other quotes. I had a couple places come out. They all said we NEEDED to tent, and that we needed to replace wood on our patio cover. Quotes were very high, especially for wood replacement, and I was really not looking forward to tenting. That meant leaving for numerous days, dealing with pets, bagging up food and other items. Hassle.

Always there when I need them! I can even reach our regulars on their cell phones...after hours! Have had a contract with them for at least 5 years and I'm eternally sorry I had not Yelped them sooner :( my bad! They came highly recommended from husbands office and I have only great things to say. Ask for Gregory! Nicest human being, ever. So kind, so helpful!

They came out promptly to inspect when I called - we had a subterranean termite problem. I received the bid the next day. The technician arrived within the scheduled time, and performed the work speedily. Everything was put back the way he found it - he had to pull up the carpet and drill into the concrete.
A very professional job. I can definitely recommend them.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! It is my personal opinion that Southwood has very poor business ethics and even worst customer service!!! They were recommended to us by our realtor, who is now very sorry that she did!! We were buying a home and need to fulfill Termite inspection and work to close escrow. The house was tented and part of a patio was torned down and they were suppose to do repair/ replacement of eaves. The work on the eaves was never done, but they submitted and were paid for all work in the escrow. So Southwood was paid by an escrow for services not perform!! Have tried numerous times

We have had such a problem with pests like ants, crickets and spiders at our house that was driving us nuts. After one visit from Southwood Exterminator, all of our nuisances are gone. If you are also having similar problems, you shouldn't hesitate to call them up and they will take good care of you. No more crawling around the living room floor searching for crickets in the middle of the night!!
