Services
For more than 100 years, "tar-and-gravel" roofs, or built-up roofs (BUR) have been in use in the U.S. BUR systems are generally made up of alternating layers of bitumen and reinforcing fabrics followed by a top layer of ballast (gravel). Approximately half of the roofs installed by Sprague Roofing Company in and around the greater Lincoln/Omaha area are Built-Up Roof Systems.
