We rented two units over the course of 3 months. One climate control and one large unit. The large unit was just okay, however, the climate controlled unit was a waste of money. The far wall leaked water. So two TV's and all of our family photos and some assorted other temperature sensitive things all had black mold and damaged. Basically anything that was against the back wall. Absolute waste of money. I could have stored my stuff outside if I wanted it ruined. And, now they are increasing the rates. Just go somewhere else and if you are going to pay more, you'll probably get what you pay for

I reserved a unit at this facility to move in June 19th. My daughter asked this place a question about possibly getting her own storage from a completely different email address. She decided against using this facility. So this facility gave MY reserved unit away because they felt my daughter should have responded if she still wanted a unit from her inquiry. OUTRAGEOUS. Gave my unit away. Never called me, never emailed me, never sent me a cancellation alert, email, etc.
I wouldn’t recommend this place any my worst enemy. RUN for the hills. There are many other facilities that not only offer

When it's your last day with the unit, they will bug you until you leave. And you better make it all in one trip or you will get a voice mail or a call asking why you are leaving things behind and you could of done it all in one trip. I honestly thought I had the full day but I guess by closing time you better have your lock off and gone.

I have 2 storage units at Memorial Self Storage. The location is convenient with easy south access off the Memorial access road near MacArthur, Rockwell and Meridian. I don't usually write reviews but Memorial Self Storage has been such a great experience, wanted to give heads up to other storage searchers.
The facility is very CLEAN. Certainly a different experience. It seems to
be very secure. Access is easy. Great rates. Good location just off the Kilpatrick. The staff has been easy to work with & seems to actually CARE about me & my needs.
