The man they sent well it's a boy maybe 18 to 22 years old. Young working adult I have no problem with as long as they took pride in their work. because I started early myself. He came w/o a mask and shoe cover so when he saw me with a mask & offered him a shoe cover he went to get his own. As soon as he came in he started to get busy with trying to sell me long term contracts so they could come and charge me quarterly. I didn't buy so he went start spraying the base boards and after maybe 2 minutes he was done & was going to leave. I had to tell him to spray on around the

They are easy to schedule, and very responsive to follow-up requests. We use them to tackle our ants that all wanted to come inside this fall. They did inside and outside treatments, and ended up coming back two times for free when the initial treatment did not take care of all of them. Would recommend!

Ryan, Recon’s specialist was friendly and arrived on time. He worked inside and out. He came to take care of spiders and silverfish. While here I mentioned an issue with chipmunks and he immediately went to his truck to get a trap. I was amazed how prepared he was for this. In the past we’d talked to other pest control companies re the chipmunk problem and we were told to go to Home Depot or Lowe’s to see what they suggest. I’m very happy with Recon.

Due to some mistake they charge me $200.00 and when they realized immediately they refund me.

Ryan was pleasant, very knowledgeable, and thorough in his communication with me. You don't come across many individuals who take time to listen to customers and actually know what they are doing! I found Recon through Yelp and after Ryan's visit, I am very confident in my decision. I will be referring and using them again if needed in the future!

First time home buyer. Just moved in about a month ago. I first contacted recon on Yelp and got a very fast reply on a Saturday. They came by early on Monday. Sprayed my entire house. Was extremely professional and kind. I contacted them again 4 weeks later for another issue we had found in our house. Alex called right away and set up a time the next day. He came early and took care of everything that was needed. He was incredibly kind and professional. All while maintains social distancing. I couldn’t have asked for better! Thank you Alex and Curtis! You guys are absolutely wonderful!

Horrible - don’t waste your time. Here was my experience in a nutshell:
-Signed up online for an appointment
-Someone called to let me know they were actually not open the day I selected. I rescheduled for an afternoon slot a few days later (was clear that we would not be home in the morning that day)
-The exterminator showed up 5 hours early the day of appointment because someone else in the area cancelled . We were not home, as we had stated
-The exterminator never confirmed he would not be coming back for our original appointment time until I reached out at the end of the time slot

Lack of communication. Flimsy paper traps as “rodent treatment” did nothing. Waste of $150. Couldn’t get a refund. My $5 target glue traps caught three rats. Highly disappointed with the communication. To be cheated especially in a pandemic sucks. I do not recommend. Use your money elsewhere. It was my first time getting a service. On their website it says “50% off initial service”. We did not get that discount. I called and the receptionist said it wasn’t supposed to be on the website. How misleading right? The technician was just doing his job so I don’t blame him. I blame the manager

Alex L. performed a one-time treatment around our home today. I apologize that we didn't go to the door since we are social distancing and have a person with a compromised immune system in the home. However, Alex gave me a call to confirm exactly what needed to be targeted around the house and where. He was incredibly polite and professional.

The service was a little more expensive than I expected, but I think they have specials if you have an annual plan. When I made the appointment over the phone, I was told I could process the payment through the website when I received the e-mailed invoice

Tony Vitruong is great! He showed up exactly at 10AM and retreated the home. Paid special attention to problem areas. This is the second time he has been to the house and we are very pleased with his service and demeanor. A true professional. And Recon always delivers for me and my clients.

Decided to go with this company after reading the reviews to extract mice. They ended up just placing bite traps and we continued seeing mice and they came out several times just moving the traps around. They weren't thorough in their inspection and didn't even check all the traps the services also stated they would seal any small entry points which they told me fill myself. I ended up catching more mice by using glue traps on my own and switched to a different company.

The whole team is outstanding and has been for the past 9 years! they were there for us when we had skunk issues, mice, and generally kept our lawn and home safe. Never an issue of service or billing. I'm getting ready to use them again in our next place! I try to recommend them any chance I get!

Not only are they quick to get back to you about providing estimates and/or services, they are very knowledgeable. I messaged them thru Yelp for an estimate and was able to speak to someone within a few hours. They sent someone out the very same day to check things out. I agreed to the service on the spot and they got to work. They say to give it a few weeks to ensure treatment works but honestly, I saw results that same afternoon! I have a service contract with Recon and am quite pleased. I had another treatment done this morning and it's time I leave a well-deserved review. Mike was excellent at explaining exactly what he was doing this morning and why. He explained the solution he was using and how it works to get rid of bug invaders in my house. I'm impressed by Recon and it's truly because of interactions with employees like Mike. Awesome service overall.

Kevin was so nice, and I let him take care of the spraying of the lower floor, which is important to me because I was bitten last Dec. by a brown recluse spider. He checked for webs and signs of spiders everywhere and concentrated on my fireplace woodpile...If you live close to vegetation or you see one of these spiders, you need to get them sprayed. Their bites are the worst.

These guys are the real deal. It is so nice to deal with salesman that don't treat me like an idiot. Recon has always been upfront with me. They only treat the problem that is there, not just looking to take advantage.

Update: I've dealt personally with the owner, Scott. He is easy to work with and always answers my calls. Recon does what it takes to get the problem solved. A+ outfit.

They don't service my area of Fredericksburg but were prompt in answering my request.

First time they came the guys looked around and I wasn't sure if he did anything. I asked if he sprayed upstairs and he said "you want me to?" And again in my basement. I wasn't satisfied however I did give them another chance since I see more ants than before.

They came back 3 weeks or so later and this time I wasn't home but my dad had to walk around and ask them to do their job. My dad asked questions and the guy couldn't answers. My dad told me how he felt about it and I wasn't the only one experience it. I will give it another try since I'm hoping

We had to have a birds nest removed from our dryer vent. Excellent/Professional service from start to finish.

We recently had neighbors move out and instead of taking their roaches with them, they sent them over to our house. This was our first time encountering these nasty creatures. I called Recon after reading some reviews, and they came 3 times over a period of 6 weeks. All the the workers were very friendly and explained everything they would need to do. After the 3rd treatment, we have not seen any more roaches.
