Cathy Helmholz, founder of Just In Time Design is a native Belgian who has been living in America for over 34 years. After a long career in the fashion business, she decided to bring her European sensibility and practical American "can-do" approach to her work ethic and business style. As a former real estate agent, she knows what buyers and sellers want.
After initial visit, we come back for the actual staging process which consist in placement of furniture, wall art, accessories and getting the house ready for pictures. We purchase inventory for your model homes, within your budget. When the house sells, we move the furniture to the next new model faster than you can say, "Wow, that's incredible!"

We all think because we watch HGTV we know what to do to prepare our house to sell. The problem is that our home have a personal history for us, and we get too comfortable with how we live, so have a hard time knowing what is important for a potential buyer. We need an outsider to give us honest advise on how to show buyers what our house could be to them.

Cathy is not only very creative but also an excellent person to deal with. She knows exactly what she wants based on the house and available furniture. She was able to completely transform our house for barely 450 bucks. The house looked like million bucks after she was done. I would recommend her for any staging needs.

Cathy does a thorough and professional job. She staged my house before rental and selected interior paint colors and it was rented after only a few showings. The comments I received back were “very happy home”, “colors were very nice and inviting”, “home shows very well compared to others on the market”. I would use Cathy again when we are ready to sell. Cathy Helmholz provided expert staging consultation for the sale of our 3,300 sq ft house in suburban Austin, as well as management of the project -- complete interior repainting, rearrangement and removal of furnishings and wall hangings, and purchase of various plants, pots, and pillows.

Cathy came out to my house with one days notice to help me prepare it to sell. She provided me excellent advice on new paint colors, fixtures, etc. while always being conscious of my budget. She introduced me to carpet, painters, and tile experts who did the job significantly cheaper and most likely with more attention to detail than the quotes I received from Home Depot, etc. I am incredibly happy with everything she has helped me with.
I have two other houses that I want updated and I have already called her to schedule her time.
