I highly recommend Summer Thornton Design. Summer and Whitney put together a plan for the space that was classic, unique, beautiful and very much me. Their great eye for decor, incredible organization, general enthusiasm, and work ethic puts them well above all of the other interior designers I interviewed for the project.

We had the opportunity of working with Summer Thornton Design and they were absolutely fabulous. Summer and her team were very responsive, efficient and easy to work with. When visiting our offices, they were always super friendly and informative. We have received numerous compliments on our office design and it attracts everyone who walks by with its unique feel. From the colors to the finishes, Summer well exceeded all of our requests and expectations.

We have worked with Summer Thornton Design for many years now. Summer, Whitney and all the staff are wonderful to work with and bring fresh energy to the design world. They have always been very respectful and understand what it takes to get the job done in an extremely high quality manner which in my opinion is the key to a successful project. We are a painting and wall covering installations company and love the new ideas and challenges they bring to us to accomplish. I especially appreciate how they tailor each project to the clients personality and needs. This is no cookie cutter design firm

I cannot adequately put into words how pleased I am with Summer and the rest of the team at Summer Thornton Design, but I'll give it a shot...
I am a bit of a control freak - some may even claim I have a mild case of OCD. Needless to say, the thought of turning over control of my recent home remodel made my stomach a bit uneasy.
That feeling disappeared 10 minutes into my first meeting with Summer - I immediately knew I was making the right decision. The level of attention her team puts into EVERY last detail was amazing (even to me).
My home is now finished and the end result is stunning. I

Summer Thorton and her design team came on board for our new house project early in the design process. We were building a large family lake home in Wisconsin. I first saw Summer's designs in print magazines in Chicago. It was her use of color that attracted me and drew my interest. Once I hired her, I was so overwhelmed and completely wowed by her color choices and combination of color for every element of the room design. Another thing Summer does so well is mixing new designs with antique details. This was an unexpected surprise and made our home feel unique and totally personal to my taste

I had the pleasure of working with the Summer Thornton Design team when conceptualizing my new retail store’s interior theme. I had found her firm when I had asked around for recommendations, as Summer had decorated another retail store in the Chicago area.
