I was pleased with the front end of the order and delivery process, but I'm not impressed with customer service now that I need to return.
I've called (left voicemail) and emailed three days in a row to get an RMA in order to return a guitar case. I'm still waiting for a response.
I don't mind waiting, but if I am told I can't return due to the 30 day policy, I will not be happy.

Bought a road case rack from them online. Listed as Open box, described as excellent condition. It arrived packaged poorly but in undamaged packaging. All corners are scratched up and/or dented some panels are dented. Loose screws and missing nuts. No response from seller when messaged about settlement.

I visited Hollywood DJ at 5:50 PM, which is 10 minutes before they closed. I came in looking for a DJ Flight (Coffin) case for my Pioneer DDJ SX3 controller and they were able to accommodate me and get me the perfect flight (coffin) case with the laptop stand on top. I am very satisfied. Thank you again for the super last minute sale.

They work under another name, Hollywood Guitar on Reverb.com They listed an item with free shipping that I purchased and paid for, after a week of messaging them for a status they just said it was gonna cost me an additional $200 in shipping and before I could even reply they cancelled my order and never replied back to me with why they just cancelled my order. This company is just a drop ship middleman.

Best customer service ever. Found the best price on a product here too, 25% chraper. Once in a while a company goes above and beyond to follow up and although a product was received new with a few missing screws and pieces, Hollywood DJ continued to follow up and find a better-then-acceptable-solution. They contacted the manufacturer and got everything sent to me.

Just wanted to let you guys know your service and communication is everything! I have purchased lots of equipment from other companies throughout all these years. I bought a decksaver cover for my pioneer S11 mixer about a month ago. One thing that I’m big on is communicating with me about when my item will arrive. I understood it was a preorder item but you guys always sent me emails keeping me updated with what was happening and loved that!

I live in Mobile, Alabama. My band Everwas suggested that I purchase the Behringer EQ700 pedal to dial in a stellar lead tone, so I shopped online for one. Turns out literally EVERYONE (including Amazon) was out of stock, except for Hollywood DJ. I purchased the pedal from them, then got a call from Allen (store manager) the next day that they were also out of stock. Well, almost; they still had the display model. Allen offered me the display pedal for $5 less than the normal price. This was a week ago; the pedal arrived today and I am ecstatic! I will definitely purchase equipment from Hollywood

Worst customer service ever!!!! They have an antiquated receipt system. I ordered some lights, came back a week later to pick them up. I take out my phone to show them the receipt (which by the way is hand written receipt) for them to say they only accept the original hand written receipt. All of the receipts I have are digitally scanned into my cloud and any where Ive gone to return or pick up things they accepted it, as they only need the bar code number. Needless to say I refused to leave with out my lights and 2 hours later they found their copy of the receipt.

This placed showed me speaker, I bought it..they gave a different speaker that did not work..I had no idea I only 1 month warrany..I open the speaker box and the woofer was not working..so I went back and they said it would be $40 to repair..It took over a month..so I showed up at the place and they could fine my speaker...finally they brought out this old scratched up speaker and of course they said it was mine..bunch of crooks and idiots..don't by from this place..by the way I noticed about 12 Speakers on the floor with signs "no work"..1 star cause I had to..

Placed order on-line. They offered a coupon code very visibly on their site which I took advantage of. Three days later I got an email saying that the order was on hold with no information on why. I had to take the time to call them to find out what was going on, and when I called they said that the coupon code was no longer valid. I had already provided my credit card info, processed the entire order through their website, and now they were telling me that I could either pay the extra 15% or cancel the order.
