911 Appliance Services did repair our refrigerator / freezer. At the end of the day the unit works, but it was way too much of a hassle, way too expensive, and a huge waste of food. Without any hint of responsibility from anyone I spoke to at the company, I won't be using this company again and I suggest you find someone else as well.

Paul was great. He was still super friendly and knowledgeable even though he didn't get to my house until late and was still going to make one more call after leaving around 7:30 pm on a Saturday! Costs in general are steep after Covid so I can't comment about that. I debated if I was willing to shell out so much money for a recharge for my AC, but my house is cool now so I guess it was worth it. The willingness to come out last minute and late with a smile was well worth it.

Not the WORST experience, but also not the best either.
I woke up yesterday and I wasn't getting hot water and the pilot light for my water heater didn't kick on as it usually does after using up the hot water. So I'm a little desperate bc I want hot water.
This company was sort of the first to pop up so I chose them. Very responsive via Yelp messaging, scheduled an appt for the same day. The tech arrived within the scheduled window, but here's where the customer experience went south.
He pressed the igniter on the water heater about 10 times and proceeds to quote me on

Called these guys for a broken clothes washer drain pump when the first place I tried didn't return my call. Called them at about 11am, got an appointment for 1 to 2pm the same day, repairman showed up at 1:30, diagnosed the problem in about 5 mins, had the replacement part on hand, fixed the washer, and was gone before 2pm. Very impressed and I made sure to put the magnet he left in a handy place so we know who to call next time.

Our refrigerator went wonky 3 days before Thanksgiving, full of food! Yikes!
I checked Yelp, and based on the reviews & additional information, I chose 911 Appliance Repair for service. Wow am I glad I did.
They are quick to respond, have good communications, we got an appt. in no time. We unloaded the freezer & refrigerator, a perfect chance to clean.
The next day, the technician, Paul, came to diagnose/fix the problem.
He needed to order a new Thermostat, did so from here by phone, then came back the next day to de-ice freezer, install the new thermostat, and
he completely fixed

Our dryer was busted on Sunday night when we usually do a bulk of our laundry. I was scrambling to find an appliance service company that could come in ASAP because we have very young kids and not being able to do frequent, heavy loads of laundry is a very big deal for us. Many companies actually were booked very far out but 911 Appliance Services said they could come in on the very next day. Responded right away. Came the same day! Practiced safe COVID measures and the office provided updates about when the tech would be arriving. The tech was knowledgeable, nice and was able to get my dryer working again. He had thermostats on the truck and replaced mine and gave the unit a deep cleaning . He was timely and I would recommend as rehire!

I posted a review that nobody should ever use this company. They had come out three times and could not make my refrigerator work. I contacted a different company who advised that 911 had not replaced the filter and they looked at the refrigerator and said it was fixable. 911 appliance called again and asked for a last chance to make it right. I agreed. It still didn't work after they left. They refunded my money and I deleted the yelp review. Today the new company came out. I called them Monday to get a quote to fix my dryer.
I told the operator exactly what was going on. The dryer spins with no heat. They said we will charge you for the $59 diagnostic (show up) fee, then waive it if you accept the quote to repair.
The tech shows up, I tell him what's wrong. He turns on the dryer, hears it spin, opens the door and says, your dryer is r receiving any heat. I told him, I know, that's exactly what I just said. No Diagnostic complSo he proceeded to take a picture of the make & model of the dryer and text it in to get a quote for the parts and repair. Now

I requested a service on dryer repair yesterday (mothers day 2020) due to my Samsung Dryer being out of commission. a 911 appliance service manager replied to me within 10 minutes over email with a very reasonable rate compared to a couple other competitors. We agreed on a 10 am arrival (ETA) for a technician to troubleshoot the issue with our dryer.
The Technician Paul arrived a bit after the slotted 10 am slot but the company provided me with up to date text message notifications apologizing for the delay, so i was kept in the loop all along.

I only write reviews when I can highly recommend an excellent service. It is very difficult to find an appliance repair service that you can thrust. If you are looking for an excellent service and a fair price, make a call to this company. I had the pleasure to met Paul. He fixed my whirlpool dryer. He was on time, and fixed it the same day I am so happy that my dryer is working like brand new!
