This business posts deals on offer up making you think you're going to get an amazing deal and come down to the store and they conveniently don't have any of the product for sale that was listed do not shop at this business at all When I confronted the salesman about merchandise that was on sale via pictures I got from their offer up the sales representative grabbed my phone out of my hand and begin to walk me around the store and try to prove to me that what was in the photo wasn't what was for sale

I create lighting on arch less grand scale, the managers / owners were nice enough to let me walk the showroom and identify where I had been making mistakes and design flaws in my own pieces. I'll only show their stuff to be fair. I'd hate to take away all their business lol lol lol I have big dreams

We worked with Bob James 11 years ago buying all the lighting for our new home. He was knowledgeable and very easy to work with. Since that time we have gone back to him with some strange problems and unusual lighting/fan requests and he has responded and taken care of us every time exceeding our expectations. Statewide has a wide variety of lighting and fans, and they know their business. Bob excels at providing the customer an excellent experience. He is my first call for anything lighting or fans.

My husband and I have been working on updating our house over the past year. We went into Statewide to get some ideas on lighting and ceiling fans. Ashley worked with us and she took the time to listen to the style of the home we were envisioning. After getting an idea, she showed us floor models and pulled out catalogs with a variety of options within our budget. I've found that I'm typically compelled to write a review after a particularly bad or particularly good experience. Fortunately, this falls into the "good" category.
I had been looking around for replacement exterior lights for my house. After having poked around a few places, I was still without a collection that appealed to me and suited the house (including not getting a lot of help from the various salespeople in several stores....either the store didn't have what I was looking for or the salesperson didn't understand the style that I was after).

I purchased two bathroom light fixtures from this store in December, 2014. My "Lighting Consultant" was Cecily Merdes, who was very helpful and friendly at my initial visit, sending catalog pages to my email so I could see the fixtures and specs at home, and when I returned to pick up the lights. I would also note that on all three occasions I visited this store to complete the purchase, I was the only person in the store. Crowd-phobes, this is the place for you! The previous posting seems quite unfair to me, as the complaints stem from the lighting manufacturer rather than the retailer. This morning I visited Statewide Lighting to browse the exterior lighting. I was very impressed with the attention I received. Although the man at the desk (Bob) was juggling an number of tasks and interruptions due to an employee absence on this particular morning, he was right there to assist me at every moment that I needed him, cheerfully and intelligently answered all my questions. Today, as our electrician was installing our new craftmade ceiling fan, we found out that our particular fan had a faulty electrical part.
So, I immediately called Statewide, where we purchased the unit from and explained our problem to Robin.
Even though when I called it was after regular business hours, she immediately brought us over a new replacement part, that worked perfectly!
I can not say enough good about the service that we received today, but will always recommend this business to anyone wanting GREAT old fashioned customer service!

This is a terrible company to work with! We chose Statewide Lighting because I had worked with them professionally. We ordered 3 pendant lights from them last September. One stopped working in November and it took WEEKS for them to order a part that was needed to fix it. Endless phone calls were not returned and it took a lot longer than it should have. We also had to bring it in, leave it there to be fixed and then pick it up. Not convenient! About 2 months ago, the same light stopped working plus another one. We have made about 8 calls and only one has been returned. The man who answers the phone
