I went looking for solar options after seeing my summer bill, been through 3/4 different companies with incentives that sounded so well! I ended up with Sol up through referral/ reviews/ Panasonic panels.. Process was smooth from the beginning to the end, my sales consultant was Grant Lipus.. Came over and explained in detail.. Did not push me to buy at all.. I was already contracted with Vivint at the time and upon speaking to Grant, I immediately canceled my contract..

Another thing. READ the fine print. Everything looks and sounds good up front, but if you try to sell your home be prepared to pay for your system upfront in order sell your home. They don't explain any of the particulars or details upfront if decide to sell your home. Once you sign on the line, they'll only help with monitoring and troubleshooting issues.

I am autistic. I'm able to live on my own and to hold a job because my life is very structured. Unless a phone call appointment has been scheduled, I do not like using phones. My issue with phones is that I never know when they will ring or who might be calling. Since this upsets my sense of structure, my phone is almost always turned off and all calls will go to voice mail.

After getting estimates from 6 different firms, I decided to go with Sol-up for three reasons: the product quality, its warranty, and the people. I dealt with several different people via phone, email, and text throughout the various stages of the project and each were professional and a pleasure to work with. They even dealt successfully with an extremely uncooperative HOA who clearly knew nothing about our state laws. The project passed city inspection & utility inspection with no issues the first time.

I'm very happy with my solar installation, and the service of Sol-Up. from the initial quote to installation follow up, this has been the best contractor experience we've had. They took care of everything, including HOA, city and NvEnergy. And pigeon guards. Pricing was also competitive.
We're now generating over 70 KWh per day and my first NvEnergy bill was smaller with only two weeks on line. It's also cool to check our system from the app.

I first was going to go with Tesla. But after doing further research and looking at reviews online, i decided to go with Sol-Up. I'm glad i did. The professionalism, fast and friendly service made this process all the worth it. YES, i am paying a little more for solar panels, but you get what you pay for, and i know that it's being done correctly. The whole process took about 2 months, from sending off my NV Energy statements to Sol-Up, to the day NV Energy came out to swap out the meter. After deciding to go solar we learned that the best panels on the market were: Panasonic (which Sol-up uses), SunPower and LG. We got quotes from them and more and ultimately chose Sol-Up because they price-matched our LG quote and were willing to overpower our system for when we ultimately get electric cars.

We had our solar panels installed in January and wanted to wait a couple of months before I gave a review. We got quotes from 4 different companies. Sol-Up won out due to the quality of the Panasonic panels and the price was the best. Dan our salesman was great and didn't pressure us. They told us initially it would take 2 days for installation, but I was pleasantly surprised when they knocked on my door at the end of the 1st day and told me they were done. Andrew, Jeovanni, Alfredo and Fernando were awesome! Very professional and did not leave a mess and were very respectful of our property

5-star rating for a reason! I was very impressed with their customer service 95% of the time. Most of their staff were great except the lady who does the HOA paperwork, according to her, she doesn't do the HOA paperwork. I was promised by their salesman Michael that Sol-up will take care of all the paperwork. Anyway, it is not a big deal that we did our HOA paperwork ourselves. It's just the principal!
My solar finally turned on today. When the Sol-up found out the connection has problems on their end, they immediately send a very nice technician to my house and fixed the issue right

From start to finish this company has been amazing. The office staff were attentive and blazing fast and took of every single step in the process.
The onsite inspection and coordination with a roofing contractor for some needed repairs was also super seamless and smooth. I opted for a roofing contractor not suggested by them but one that came with the best recommendations from neighbors. Low and behold they were the main roofer sol-up works with, so their connections are solid.

We are up and running and able to monitor our system on an app.

When searching for the right Solar company to go with I spoke with people and asked questions on social media and all signs pointed towards Sol-Up. The communication from the beginning was what would want and expect while going through this process.

This is my second review. The first one was on the sales, and install. I gave them a A for that part of the Job. Now the City of Henderson has to come out and inspect to sign off on the install. Next step was for NV Energy to come out and inspect and place a new Solar meter.
The Sol Up Customer service team did a great job of keeping on top of these final inspections so we could start producing electricity. Sol Up (Tina) did a very professional job making this happen.

My wife and I decided to purchase a solar and interviewed 5 companies. Based on price, Sol-up wasn't the cheapest but close. After looking at the Panasonic panels and warranty production we decided to go with them. One big plus for me was their contract was very simple and straight forward. They do their own installs so no other companies to deal with if we have problems. We signed the contract in November, and were told the installation date would be in early January. They gave us a date and showed up on the date we were told. After 2 days the system was installed and just had to wait for NV Energy

Install was very well done. Crew was professional and did a great job. All solar systems will require a little bit of conduit on the outside of your house in order to get the power from the roof to your electrical meter. The crew supervisor was able to run the conduit closer to the bottom of the house so as to minimize the visibility of the conduit. This required some extra work on their part. After installation, you'll need to wait a few weeks for the county and NV energy to do their inspections. Meanwhile, Sol-Up will send a painter to paint the exterior facing solar system parts to match

So I planned on going solar and got several proposals from various solar companies and brokers around town/online. Decided to go with Sol-Up for a variety of reasons. Mainly was the superior product they were offering, the price and warranty of that product and labor, and the overall way the company seemed to handle their business... which was true to the many positive reviews I read online from various platforms. From the day I signed my contract to when I finally was able to turn on the switch took 11 weeks. Not bad, wished it could've been sooner, but timing varied due to my HOA approving documents
