Jimmy and Harvey just finished installing a new gas package unit for me. The install went smoothly and the fit and finish of the ductwork, electrical, gas/condensate line are superb. I had trouble finding reviews of Bull City Heating and Cooling with regards to new installs so I was a bit anxious at first.
Hopefully this positive review will be useful to others. I can tell this company takes pride in their work and will do things right the first time. There are many HVAC contractors but it's rare that you'll find the owner in the field troubleshooting and performing installations. Their diagnosis is honest and their pricing is very competitive.

We had a difficult issue with our ac/heating unit that required a few visits. Luis and his helper took many steps to isolate the issue, and provided a good solution for us.
I scheduled all of our appointments by text, and was very pleased with their system. I quickly received responses offering an available time they could visit, and notifications when they were on the way. They also arrived on time for the appointments every time.

This truly could not have gone worse. Wrong system installed. Leaks in the ceiling that cause water spots, no permit pulled initially and therefore no inspection. Multiple failures of the system within the first 60 days. Horrible company to work with (call this number but no one answers, call another number and it tells you to text a 3rd number) no options to contact outside of bankers hours which really sucks when your AC goes out more than 3 times in such a short period after dropping 10 grand on a full new system. Still not completely resolved and may have to settle with small claims court to

Bull City HVAC, was great for us. We had a new unit installed. From start to finish it has been great. Jimmy has kept us in the loop on start date and status of the job. Yes, you may pay a little more for a small business. Though the quality of work, communication with technicians and Jimmy, and supporting a small business are well worth it. No regrets on our end. The Technicians Jimmy had at our house were great guys very transparent and answer any of my questions, and I usually have a lot. Thank you, Jimmy, Louis, and Brian.

Our ancient HVAC finally gave up the ghost and we were really worried about finding a professional, reasonably-priced firm to do the replacement. I am SO glad we used Bull City HVAC. Everything about the approach they use was stellar- from the open and clear communication to showing up on time every time, it was definitely worth the investment. Our new unit is beautifully installed and we could not be more happy.

I chose this locally-owned business in part because of the stellar reviews, and am happy to report they are on point! I had several exchanges with Jimmy the owner, and Luis the lead service person, initially to service my HVAC and then to replace a sensor board. Luis was one of the most professional, courteous, and respectful service people I've had in any home over the past 15 years. I also appreciated that he wore a mask and kept a 6' distance whenever we needed to talk face to face. Jimmy went the extra mile to get a part that was on backorder at Carrier for several months, so I had a well functioning

We have been happy with Bull City HVAC twice now - the first time when our AC unit needed to be recharged and the second time 3 years later (today) when it finally died and needed to be replaced. Bull City HVAC is quick to respond, schedule a time to come out, and honest about how to solve the problem. Jimmy (the owner) is knowledgeable, kind, and gave us a few options to address how to manage the temperature in our 2-story, 100-year old house. The guys who came to do the work were just as professional and pleasant to have around our house. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

If you are looking for an honest, reliable HVAC company, look no further. Our 20 year old HVAC was starting to struggle to cool on hot days and producing a moldy smell on hot days. We decided to start shopping for a new system. We got 3 estimates and Jimmy was by far the most competitive. There was a snafu with ordering and Jimmy didn't hesitate to upgrade us (at no charge) to a nicer upstairs unit to keep things on track. The install was smooth and efficient. A couple months out, we had a minor issue with the upstairs unit and Jimmy sent someone out that day to take care of it free of charge.

Jimmy and his team are so kind. They didn’t give me the run around at all. Jimmy was thoughtful and considerate of me and my needs. He didn’t try to push me on any sale. I feel very comforted knowing there is a company I can trust to do the right thing. Louis came out quickly and gave me a call as soon as he was there to give me an update of what I needed. He was clear and communicative and made sure I understood what was going on. I will definitely be using them in the future and I highly recommend that you give them a call.
