In 1977, Gary O'Reilly founded what would become O'Reilly's Furniture and Amish Gallery, with the mission of providing the highest-quality furniture and exceptional service to each and every customer that walked into the building. His friendly demeanor, ability to make anyone feel like family, and desire to connect customers with the perfect furniture for their unique needs, made him a permanent and well-loved fixture in the Libertyville area.
It is a testament to Gary's involvement in the community and the quality of his products that he still has returning customers from the days when he was merely a fledgling businessman starting out in the furniture industry. The connections he made with so many families in Northern Illinois made his job enjoyable, but it also made it difficult when he decided it was time to retire.

Best furniture shopping and delivery experience I've ever had! Friendly, knowledgable owner and staff. Superior customer service. Meticulous delivery and in-home setup. High quality furniture. I can't imagine getting furniture anywhere else now. I've been disappointed so many times shopping at chain stores. In a world of sub-par customer experiences, it's refreshing to find a place like O'Reilly's just down the street. I will be a repeat customer for sure. Thank you again!!

The owner, Mike, and his associate, Pat, were absolutely pleasant to work with. Very patient and educating at the same time without being overbearing. We bought our furniture mid-COVID from these lovely people and they’ve been very transparent about the COVID-delays and process. The store offers a wide selection of quality products, really nice wood, and a huge selection of fabrics - more than many of the other furniture stores I’ve visited. If you ever find a quality product, run it through with Mike and see if he has it in stock as well. He’s the small family business you’d enjoy working

Hands down my favorite furniture store!!! I ordered a custom Amish dinning room table and chairs and they turned out beautiful. Mike was very helpful and patient as I took a few months to figure out the exact look I wanted. They can order pretty much any look you want and do a great job finding the best price with the many vendors they work with.

Very happy with our first purchase from O'Reilly's! Everyone was easy to work with, our couch was ready right when we were told it would be, and they were able to deliver the same day it arrived in their store. They even disposed of our old couch for us!
We looked at at least half a dozen furniture shops, and they were the only one selling the high quality we wanted. We already have plans for a few more future purchases.
