However, the up-front effort will be well worth it when you're able to easily unload and organize your items at the storage unit. Invest in good quality, sturdy boxes and packing materials. Boxes should be sturdy enough to hold up for years under the weight of the stack.

I had a storage place here from 2015 - 2021. I always had great customer service here, especially James, he was always a pleasure , whether it be me calling in for me to pay my rent or swing by my unit to store items in. He was always on the task and ready to serve you. I recommend north park storage to anyone in the north park area.

I definitely made a mistake and rated them 1 star on accident when I was trying to rate a different business. They reached out without causing a scene or yelling at me. They simply explained why I was wrong. I apologize and will hopefully be able to business with them in the future.

I went to this place to see if the size of the storage and price was acceptable. I got a feeling the receptionist didn't want to be bothered. I asked if I could take a look at one of the units and I could see her body language giving off a feeling like why is he bothering me. The place reaked of urine and enough was enough. That was my exit que and I thanked her for her time and left. Will never recommend this place.

I read a review that said this place had a rude desk clerk lady and just assumed this was an overreaction, but turns out that reviewer was right. I called this business today and even my girlfriend sitting next to me was like, "what's her problem?" If you want to support businesses in SD that have decent human beings I'd recommend taking your money elsewhere 😕

My IHSS client and I have been with the great folks at NPSS for YEARS now (about 6) and have always been treated with decency and respect. The rates at NPSS are far better than any place we have ever looked, it's convenient, clean, and secure. Property staff have been helpful and supportive through some very difficult times and even went out of their way to offer me a larger unit to consolidate the THREE we had, gain space, AND SAVE $120/month. The only downside to our experience has been the no Sunday hours, and the inability to get to things in an emergency because of a long holiday weekend once

I went here today, planning to rent a space, and the person at the counter was super rude from the get go. She was short with me, talking to me like I was bothering her, annoyed by me asking what their rates were, then cursing at me when I said I didn't appreciate the treatment and that I'll take my business elsewhere. I'd go into more detail, but walking out was probably enough of a statement.
Maybe I had an isolated experience or caught her at a really bad moment, but it definitely made me feel like storing my possessions there, and shelling out my hard earned money to them would be a poor choice
