Gave a $350 down-payment in early October. It's now January. Nobody has contacted us to schedule the work and now nobody will return our messages or emails including Tom Becker. We've been leaving messages with the answering service AND with Tom directly for months. We have been more than patient. About to file a complaint with the BBB and maybe file a police report for theft.

We have used Trees r Us a few times. They've helped us with a tree removal, storm clean-up, and with trimming back of some trees that were over our house. Each time, they have been friendly (as my kids watched from a distance), professional, and have left everything cleaned up. We have recommended them to friends.

Extremely pleased with the service provided today by three young men...They expertly trimmed a huge locust tree so it no longer hung over the neighbor’s property, giving it a long overdue trim, then removed a 100’ tall sickly fir that was less than a foot from the house as well as a self-seeding infected crabapple. They finished by carefully removing 8 bushes without damaging a single flower in my garden. Excellent cleanup. Didn’t waste a second. Since I didn’t request this service until late June, I had to wait my turn, about three weeks. But it was totally worth the wait. I will use only

So on Friday I filled out their on line form for my interest in firewood. Monday after no response I called and spoke with what must have been either an answering service or an untrained kid. She promised me someone from sales would call me that day. It's now Wednesday and I call again with no answer this time. I want a cord of wood, not a face cord I explained the first time and still as of today 3 attempts to communicate in 6 days no return of call or online form

Last Fall, I gathered 5 quotes to replace a Birch tree lost due to age. Trees R Us was surprisingly competitive and customer feedback from Angie's List were positive. So, we hired them. A different tree service had removed the tree months earlier and did not do a good job removing the roots. The team from Trees R Us had to dig twice as deep as they quoted, but did not charge us a penny more. This Spring, we noticed the tree was suffering, dropping leaves and turning brown. We called them for advice. Arborist Rick called immediately and stopped by to check on it. He called back immediately

Zero stars... Sadly we cannot recommend this company, despite our initial satisfaction with their tree trimming services. As we continued to work with the company, they recommended treating a failing river birch. After multiple treatments, it was obvious they were ineffective and we questioned why the treatments continued along with charging us. After talking to the office/bookkeeper, we were told our $50 balance would be removed. Not receiving additional invoices, we trusted the matter had been resolved as promised, and decided we would give them a second chance for additional tree trimming services

I wanted to buy firewood from this company as well, communication between the employees is poor. We (Manager and I) had agreed upon a delivery of a face chord on Saturday 12/6/2014 between 8 and 9 a.m. for $192. I received a call Friday at noon (from another person) that they would be at our home in 30 minutes. I stated that we had agreed on Saturday between 8 and 9 a.m. They stated that it wasn't in their notes, but that they'd be there tomorrow within that hour. I called their office (another person) Saturday morning at 9:15 asking where the wood was. She contacted the manager

I wanted to buy firewood from this company, but I guess they didn't want to sell any. 3 phone calls from me over 2 weeks to try and buy a full cord of firewood, first 2 times i was told Phil would call me back. He never did. 3rd time I called, I told them I've called a couple times already and never heard from Phil, is there someone else? They said they would have Nick call me. Never heard from him either. Oh well, another business appreciated my business instead.

Nope they don't call you a lot they just come when scheduled (weather permitting) and do their work. They are fast, CLEAN UP IS FANTASTIC and very very good. We had a huge 75' Honey Locus that had to be dropped in a tight space (near our fence/house and neighbor's driveway/house) and these guys dropped her branch by branch not wrecking anything. My neighbors were so impressed they asked for cards.
The guy that came out a few days later to grind out the stump did a really good job, fast, friendly, professional and again just came out and did their job.
