Had an emergency pipe leak from the water pump, wasn't sure about the previous company I had come out and was referred to these guys!!
The service guy was sort of quiet, but the work done was great!! He took everything apart, and then even moved pipping to compact the area! It looks nice and oriented and now I'm assured it will last!! I couldn't believe the end price also! I'm so glad I went with my instinct and called somebody else, let alone a reliable company I was referred too!!

We tried to fix some "simple" issues with YouTube advice and quickly got over our heads with both our showers.
Danny made time to come over and see what our issues were. He fixed one shower the day after we called, he didn't have time to fix the other. Danny did give us advice on how to prep for his guys and save money by saving them time.
Randy and his helper were great as well!
We will recommend and use Helmus plumbing for any future issues.

We hired Helmus Plumbing for replacement of our old hot water heater as well as replacing a leaky sprinkler shut off valve. These guys were excellent. Their price was reasonable, they showed up on time, were friendly and respectful, did the job like professionals, were efficient (finished the job in 1.5 hrs - faster than they had estimated), explained what we needed to know, and made sure to check everything out before they left. They told us to call them if we see any issues. They stand behind their work.

These guys are tradesman who seem to really care about people and quality (not just wrench-turners /clock punchers). Danny specifically is really awesome to work with: always responsive and helpful. Everyone who has ever come to the house for a project or repair has been easy to talk to, professional, and I never felt like they were ripping me off. I like to do business with good people who I feel like I trust. The people at Helmus fit that bill perfectly. They shoot you straight, hometown prices, friendly, they get you in quickly... I never hesitate to call them.

I have 11 rental properties in kalamazoo. I live in Chicago. I need people who will be fair and I can rely on since I am not in the area. Danny at Helmus couldn't be fairer or more reliable. I use them for inspections and the really big jobs. Is that work in the rental industry know that we want the best quality for the lowest bid. That's these guys.

Helmus Plumbing Services is a terrible company to do business with. My elderly mother and sister who live together signed a contract with Helmus to install a new hot water furnace last March 2016. This fall my mother and sister had a problem with the furnace while it was still under warranty. Helmus came out and said they could not fix the problem and recommended another furnace company to call. My mother and sister called this other furnace company and they repaired and completed the job that Helmus never completed. My mother and sister acquired a lot of additional costs.
