Walter and his crew did an excellent job on sanding/cleaning and adding a finish coating to our oiled hard wood floor. Our floor was only 3 years old, but had stains and was getting darker. An oiled floor is a nightmare to maintain. Never get one! It is now stain free, cleaner and much easier to maintain.

We recently bought a home and wanted to remove the carpet in the bedroom and restore the red oak flooring underneath. Walter responded quickly by visiting us and writing up a reasonable quote. His team, (Ariel and Abraham) were exceptional. Arriving on time, they knew the scope of the work and were very courteous and neat. They returned the second day to finish the project and gave us some guidance on how to take care of our floors. They definitely love what they do. I will definitely use this team in the future.

I'm glad a friend referred me to Walter. They changed the entire feel of my 1950s house by bringing the original flooring back to life. In areas of termite damage, the new oak they installed is impossible to distinguish from the original. Hard workers, good attitudes, timely communication, fast service, and a very fair price for the level of effort and quality of work.

This is the second floor we have had them refinish and both turned out beautiful. They are very knowledgeable about the wood and color choices that make them stand out. The crew is quick and efficient in getting the job done and clean up the job site prior to leaving. The best part is their prices are very reasonable. Walter and his crew were very responsive to all questions via email and text. Showed up promptly and came to our house several times as we decided between contractors and to bring samples. He really worked for our business. His crew were friendly and so efficient. They ripped out old tile in the kitchen and laminate in a couple of large rooms, and installed walnut flooring - all in 3 days. It looks beautiful and we have had so many compliments. I would use their company again without reservation or hesitation. We found them by recommendation of a friend who has a floor installed by them

We used this company last year they quoted a price than wanted more money didn’t match our floors so now we have different color floors. I just let a neighbor know only to find out they Canelo are bad mouthing us cause of their mistakes . So even if it’s in writing I don’t trust theirs business work ethics, not a good honest company

I wholeheartedly recommend W C Hardwood Flooring. From the get go, Walter was professional and answered all my questions. Out of all the estimates I got, I trusted Walter and his abilities the most. Walter was able to assure that his crew (shoutout to Ariel and Erik) could do everything I wanted, and THEY DID. Also, they completed it in the relatively short time frame I needed because I had guests coming from out of the country. Some of the things I wanted were to reuse the existing baseboards because they match the trim around all doors, install the flooring to accommodate a floor safe, and fit

However, with Walter, he came to my house the same day I called and gave me an estimate right away. He's been consistent with his answers to my questions about things like:
YES, Walter can reuse my existing baseboards (they match the trim on all my doors) and they will carefully remove them, label them, sand, varnish

Walter came and gave me a very fair and competitive estimate (I got other estimates) to refinish our original oak floors in the entire house. I also needed him to replace some water damaged boards. The floors came out beautiful, and within the timeframe he specified. They even moved the furniture out and back in, and installed painted baseboards. I would recommend them and use them again.

Walter came out and gave an estimate. He then came out and showed color samples but my wife wanted something darker so Walter came back out and showed darker colors which were perfect. The work was done exactly how they told us it would be and the finished product is better than I expected. Could not be more pleased with the work of WC Hardwood Flooring.

Walter was wonderful. He and his workers showed up when he said they would. His pricing was very fair. They removed carpet in 3 rooms and a hallway. Not only did my floors look beautiful when they were done, they did quality work. I had an area on my hardwood floors that was damaged/stained from the chemicals used when I had my carpets cleaned. They were able to remove almost all of the stain to where it was no longer noticeable. They also matched some missing pieces of flooring and blended it in beautifully.

Walter and his crew has completed a few projects for me. Halls, bedrooms, closets, stairs, and recently a very large room with fossilized bamboo which is extremely hard flooring. Our floors were not just a square floor. It's an old house with many radius' adding to the level of difficultly.
In our case, Walter measured the area and we ordered the flooring then scheduled the installation. They arrive on-time as scheduled, work all day and complete the projects without interruption. The crew are very knowledgeable and experienced as well as personable and easy to work with.

Walter met me on my time and gave me a quick quote after measuring the floors and checking out their condition. The house had hardwood installed that was very aged and worn down. His quote was very reasonable in price and timeline was immediate. His crew came in and did an amazing job in the first day getting all the way up to staining the floor. He custom made a color for us that came out amazing. The floor looks entirely brand new and brought the home up to date. The floor was so work and old it's unbelievable to think it's the same wood. It took a total of 3 days to complete the job

Awesome experience, Walter came out and gave me a fair quote and a start date if I chose to use him, after 2 other estimates which were much higher I decided to go with WC flooring, I based my decision on 3 factors, experience of the contractor, questioning about certain facets of the job and answers that I felt were honest and last but not least pricing, my gut feeling was right these guys were on time and took care of business, vary happy with their quality of work, I would highly recommend WC flooring.

I am a Real Estate Broker and my client hired WC Flooring in Summer of 2015 to redo Hardwood floors in an entire house. I had called another company who walked in, looked at the floors and said they couldn't be helped. My client called WC Flooring and I was skeptical, because I trusted the other company who walked out. I could NOT have been more wrong to be skeptical. He did such a beautiful job, it was amazing! Unfortunately I cannot review the workmanship of this company; its because I was stood up for my estimate appointment. I gave him a courtesy 15 minutes after our scheduled meeting time before I called him for an ETA and he informed me that he had completely forgotten about me. He then asked if he could drive out to me then, that it would only take him 15-20 minutes to get to my home. I then waited 40 minutes and had to leave. He called me close to an hour after we talked and asked for my address because he forgot it. I ended up going with another company. If you can't remember my initial appointment

I have a 1950's home in Whittier with original oak hardwood floors. The previous owner carpeted over it in the bedrooms. A client of mine had used Walter's service before and was very satisfied so I decided to give him a try. They came in a week after the initial meeting and removed the carpet, sanded and stained etc... Bottom line: they did an excellent job. They blended it in very well with the existing hardwood. I have a coworker who did a lot of work to his house. He's the guy who had at least two dozen crews kicked out of his house for crap work. I asked him for a floor referral and he told me "I have this guy Walter who is awesome and he is one of two people I would EVER recommend." The other was an AC guy. So I called. Walter not the AC repair.
Several prior estimates said I had to rip out all wood and start fresh. The floors were badly damaged from the previous owners attempt
